Start now. Seriously. Christmas coming up means much eating and drinking - you could be fighting a lot more pounds after if you wait, whereas if you drop a few now and start an exercise plan that you can keep up over the vacation to counter the inevitable festive indulgence, it'll be way easier come January.
Good luck, dude.

Doughnuts aren't vegan.

Yeah they make some at this place in Vegas but I haven't had a chance to go. Guess it's a good thing considering I'd eat several dozens of them given the chance.

Mmm, doughnuts... haven't had one of those in ages. I did have BACON last night though, dirty, greasy, panfried to perfect crispness: BACON!

So Anarasha have you made use of any of the advice and resources in this thread yet?

Little things I found that helped:
Take someone grocery shopping with you to remind you to buy healthy foods.
Kept up to turn the channel on the TV.
Gum and water can become your best friends.
Find exercise that you WANT to do. If you do something you can't stand then you will eventually give up and stop exercising.
Splenda tastes just as good as sugar.
Diet sodas are a trap, they don't help much. Try fizzy water.
Park the farthest you can from the store, and walk the distance.
And remember...
This is a goal you really want to reach, you can do it. Just keep in mind that even 1 pound is better than nothing. Don't get discouraged.
Hope some of this helps!

your body actually uses water better if you have some lemon juice in there.
i also heard that splenda isn't healthy at all. and chewing gum puts air in your tummy. oh no!

Best sammich ever: pepperoni or bacon, lettuce, tomato, and dijonnaise. The dijonnaise kicks it from good to fuckmeI'mcoming. (And I don't even like mustard or mayonnaise that much by themselves.)

Mustard is good with steak. You stab the raw meat a few times with a knife then spread the mustard over it and grill. Mmm, so good! Horse radish and mustard sandwiches are pretty rad too.

I have been told that Splenda is the only fake sugar that is okay, it worked just fine for me.
And chewing gum is only a problem for when you go to weigh yourself, otherwise it helps stop cravings and it helps keep you chewing so you don't eat something else.
But everyone is different...

Splenda doesn't have the same rate of brain cancer that some other fake sweeteners have but it still isn't good for you and having that sweetness still makes your body crave sugars so it isn't good if you have trouble controlling your impulses.

I think there was supposed to be some kind of underlying insult to this thread which is funny because it is like the poster doesn't try acting better than everyone else.
