Cigarettes, hip flask, MP3, wallet, keys and usually whatever book I'm reading if I have a jacket. I buy jackets with big inside pcokets for this reason. 3 days out of 5 I forget my cell, since I don't really use it that much.

I think that's just about it for the things that are always with me; although typically I have some kind of a weapon on me as well.

Keys.
I often carry my phone, glasses, wallet, paper, pen, calculator, mp3 player, USB data stick. But only when there's high chance of using them. Keys are the only thing I always need.

You guys that carry weapons: why? Do you really have to worry about getting jumped that often?
As for myself: phone, keys, wallet, coin purse. I'll also typically carry a textbook to study, pencils and pens in a case, Japanese-English electronic dictionary, camera, PSP and DS (I'm a total geek, right?) in a shoulder bag.

phone, keys, train wallet. (train wallet contains Young Person's Rail Pass, debit card, Oyster Card- essential for food and transport)
If I have the luxury of space, then my mini folding hairbrush, a few safety pins, a notepad, a pen, a kohl pencil, a bottle of hand sanitiser, sketchpad, book, spare pen, small black domino mask, contact lens, spare underwear, deodorant....
But the phone, keys and debit card are very important. I can *just* about leave my keys and phone if I'm staying with the Gent and don't need to make outside contact, but the thin little wallet is a must if I'm to get food, drink and transport.

Wallet, keys, phone, lip stuff. The usual.
I'll usually always have a few 1334 flyers too, to either give to friends for cheaper entry or drop off in any 'alternative' shops I pass.

Seeing as I am against carrying weapons, the only things I ALWAYS carry with me are my wallet, my phone, my old, expired passport(for picID), my gloves, a pouch of stones with some close friends' names on them and a comb. Most of these are permanently in my Trenchcoat. It has 6 large pockets and a pocket for a phone, so it's no problem :P
