Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I've only just heard 'Godspeed on the Devils Thunder' but feel that after some 'mediocre' output that this concept album is a definite return to form, which combines all the best elements of both the Black Metal & Gothic genres.

I loved Cradle's old songs, but I thought the Thornogrophy album wasn't so bad as everyone is making it out to be.

Come on.... Lovesick for Mina was vintage Filth.
Surely you left that out by mistake.

I will be seeing Cradle this 20th of january. I got into this band less than a year ago (around march 2008) and fell in love with "The Principle of Evil made Flesh", then listened to the other albums after that. I prefer the old sound MUCH more than the new albums, but it doesn't mean the new ones are bad. The old ones are just darker and have more atmosphere, IMO.
