Sure, DarkWave has it's own style with Electronica-but the name itself is only trying to be distanced from our subculture itself. It's only considered a form of goth music because of its assocaition with our theme. Though lyrics, some elements, etc. are credited for being goth. Though still I feel myself, like Mick Mercer, that the term Darkwave is only the costumes' mask. Dying young is the only way to be Immortalized.
