I get it now.

I always used to get confused when people would whine about the "ban on prayer" in public schools. I assumed it was just the normal type of hyperbole that you see with any political issue. But now I am watching this:

I hadn't realized that there had been a determined misinformation campaign led by certain elements of the religious right on this point. Now I'm starting to think that when Christians whine about the "ban" on prayer in school, they actually believe that kids are not allowed to pray in school. Is that the case?

Some of you were (or are) Christian kids going through the public school system. Did you actually grow up thinking that you were getting away with something when you prayed during recess, or whatever?
