Deep fried, no. But seal, yes. Wouldn't recommend it. You can consider this one of the few exceptions to my aforementioned rule.

Dog and cat are the only two things I've ever passed up overseas. I consider myself a weakling for my inability to overcome my delicate American sensibilities in order to enjoy the juicy puppy goodness.

Yea that's the problem though. When you go overseas, in the places that server dogs and cats anyway, it's usually a "pick-your-own-animal" type affair. You can watch your chicken be executed and cleaned right after you point at it.
