You can get Arion pedals dirt cheap on EBay. I'm talking five for a hundred, or anywhere between 10 and 25 for one. You can also just use bent pedals as instruments themselves, not just effects.

Ooooh my god. I think I remember reading about pedals like that as a teen. They were insanely cheap like one for 20 bucks or so.

OMG... I just HAVE to get myself a new cable for my bass. I don't know much about electronics and even less about sound engineering, but that circuit bending thing you did makes me really wonder what else there is that can be done. Reminds me of the days when I used to try to play my bass with a wrench an strum with a quarter, except way more technical.

Got any old toys or keyboards? You can do some cool shit with a Casio SK-1. You can bend Speak 'N' Spells, Furbies, so on. It's even easier to put in a 1/4" out put into a toy, just wire up a socket to the points on the speaker. Bending compact CD players is way interesting, too.

You could describe Crass, Conflict, and many punk bands in much the same way.

Both sides have elements which they can share; sex, drugs, violence. Only one is tad more implied-pain while the other is blurting it. I can't decide which one has caused more destruction and chaos to the music world.

I love Dr Steel & The Beastie Boys.

"Clubbing-styled hip-hop" is not for me, however.

I think it's SO funny when people describe music as "brutal" or "violent".

Some hip-hop is ok. Wu-tang,Spank Rock, The Roots, the more electronic hip-hop shit like Prefuse 73.
I'm open to everything.

Hip Hop vs. Goth

I'd go for Goth Rock all the way, I never liked Hip-Hop even when I tried listening to it... o_o, I'm not saying the genre sucks though
