I remember that time when a couple of lovely Gnetters were hiking the Appalachian Trail and stopped to visit Kor, I was pissed that something fun actually happened in LoCo and I missed it.

I remember the trio that came here to stir up trouble, and not too long afterwards the mod coming in and changing shit. It's when I left here for a good while.

You're going to have to be a lot more specific, there have been quite a few of those.
I remember that time when Ophie got a temp ban, it was sad.

Point, meet Solumina.
You don't grok sarcasm much, eh?
Well, it may be my flavor of sarcasm. Yeah, there have been more than a few.

Man, EPS updated her facebook a little while ago for the first time in forever (she's really never online, haven't seen her on MSN in a very long time) and I'd like to talk to her again, but she probably doesn't even remember me so I feel weird leaving a comment. Same with Xnguela, I leave a comment on some of her postings sometimes but I feel funny about doing that because I have no idea if she remembers me.
I wonder what happened to a lot of people from back then that I don't talk to anymore, like tenet, whatever happened to him?
I remember Geisha Girl too, but she sucked.

Geisha didn't suck. She was like a Hoover vac with a hole in the bag. She tried to suck but failed because of a kink in her cheap design.

I like that, Molly Mac.
I remember all the atheism vs. theism debates that went on, and how the religious people tried to logically explain why religion is good when it's really an emotional thing, and the atheists reducing all the complexities of religion to invisible pink unicorns.

I think it is more that the wry smile on my face as I type the words doesn't really translate into anything in the actual post.
That reminds me of the time that Teapot and I got into a huge cat fight over nothing at all because both of us were continually interpreting each other's posts the wrong way.

I remember when Nevan used to ask me to make her 'sammitches' after Duckie left, and the way 'TickingStitch' would set me straight if I'd get too long-winded and off subject:

There were online and offline dramas with both Tenet and Geisha in "the other place that shall not be named" that ended very badly. There was a story about a terminal illness and a suicide attempt, and another story about a car accident induced coma. After EPS and others investigated, it all turned out to be two separate attention-whoring strategies, all fake, by two very sick and twisted individuals. And both of them ended up being shunned by all in the other place.
I'm glad to hear EPS is still active somewhere. I would keep commenting in both places. It may be that they don't comment back at this time, but staying in touch in any way is a good idea. If they didn't want you to comment they would block you. Maybe one of these days you'll get a response. And I am sure EPS remembers you ... she's smart like that! LOL!

Shit, really? I knew Geisha did that but I didn't know about tenet, I remembering reading that he was really sick so thats why I was wondering, if he ever got better, must have happened while I was away. Thats really sad.
Oh and I guess this shouldn't count since this was at the other place that shan't be named, but I remember you made a wonderful post when Geisha did that, how we all have scars we show and hide and so on, I still think about it sometimes when dealing with people like that.

Really sad, but tragically true. There were a lot of people who invested a lot of heart and caring into those two individuals. After the horrible denouement of their lies and deceit, everyone ended up hurt and a little more jaded. And I've heard nothing (thankfully) of either of them since.

BTW, it's incidents like these, plus many, many, many, many, many posts on this site that make me wonder if anyone can be goth without having a self-intercoursing need for attention.
