They could name their child ditch. That is a humble name. Well, "shelter" is a nice name. It implies helping others.
I really didn't know what either name meant until today. (nice people)

Why the fuck should we be named humbly? A lot of people don't care what their name means. Those that do should have something grand to care about.

There isn't a reason not to. I just didn't know what those names meant before. Maybe people with humble names or imply something more than being the best, are more stable.
Raymond is also a nice name, but it is common. It means wiseman of the village. Gives sense of purpose.
I guess Rapheal is the angel who looks after people as the rise into heaven. However, isn't the nickname Ralph?

I decided when I have kids, if I have a girl she'll be Annabel Lee (I know, not very original but hey) if I have a boy he'll be Judas. Although I also like Atticus and Cassius for boys names.
I was talking to someone the other day who's expecting a boy, they are naming him Solomon, which I think is pretty neat too ^_^.

Don't choose that name. When I lived on the streets, my street-name was Judas. If I introduced myself to someone, it was as Judas. I can't count the times I heard someone say something along the lines of "Betrayer of Jesus, huh?" Pissed me off to no end. I was 20 at the time. I don't want to imagine what it would be like as an young child.

I'm somewhat hazy on what precisely a street-name is, but couldn't you have just changed it to something other than Judas?

What's meant by "street name" anyway? Why introduce yourself that way? I mean..if your real name is weird or you hate it, then fair enough but to deliberately pick a name other than your own to be known as in public seems really odd to me.

I like Judas, being non Christian though I guess its easier for me to like it >.> I just like the character in the story anyway, and shows that even people with good intentions can do bad things sometimes. A lot like Brutus, but thats a horrible name.
Not like that poor kid who was named Taluha Does the Hula In Hawaii.

Basically, a street name is like a nick-name among people who live on the streets. Street names are usually earned one way or the other, and as such they tend to stick. I suppose I could've changed it if I had tried. But that's not the point. The point is if you name your kid something, they're stuck with that name at least until they're old enough to do something about it.

My name is pretty unusual and awesome as fuck! (Liusaidh )
Which means warrior goddess.
A male one in Gaelic, which I would've been called, is Ruaraidh. Which means, rather boringly, red king.

I just remembered watching a friends' episode where pheobe changed her name to "princess konswella bananahammoc"
Then her fiance changed his name to "crap bag"
Which shows you what not to name your kid
I'm not helping, I'm sorry

Do NOT name you poor child Max. My boyfriend has recently found out that everyone is naming their dogs Max and he's sick of getting confused with pitbulls and Pomerranians.

I like Katri, but I'm not Finnish so I would feel weird about it.
I like Demetri for a boy.
