Is this site crawling in emos like vampirefreaks?
Hey. I joined this site to learn about goths and not be ignorant towards your subculture. I love subculture, mainly cause subculture is awesome but also cause pop culture sucks dick.
I'm kinda in to gothic like music, but its cooler.
P.S.I also have an important question, Is this site crawling in emos like vampirefreaks? that website was painful to use.

I'd reccomend re-reading what you just wrote and try to either answer it yourself or re-write it in a more... cultured way.
It doesn't say much about your wisdom or intelligence to write a comment like "pop culture sucks dick".

Smashing, what are some of your favourite Authors? Gimme something provocative to read. I'm in need of a good read.
Despite the amount of bland music that is quite common in the pop-culture, I don't automatically slam rap. There are some thought-provoking artists out there whose work is a damn sight more creative or powerful than some so-called 'goth' music.

No, a freak is someone who is okay with being a corporate drone, getting paid less than they're worth and has no idea what the hell is going on with te rest of the world.

Well i'm not sure what your into but Matthew Reliey does great adventure stories. Clive Cussler also writes good adventure stroies about 'Dirk Pitt' [fictional character]. One of my fav is Jeff Lindsay who writes dexter the lovable serial killer. My favoutie writer is frank miller who did the Sin City comics.

Pop culture doesn't 'suck' completely; there are a -few- decent artists out there. [I've been known to appreciate a Britney Spears song now and again.] As for rap, yeah a lot of it sucks, but I generally enjoy the stuff endorsed by Adult Swim; it seems slightly more intelligent than most rap. ^__^
