Exclamation Thinking about retiring from electronic musics................

And just doing noise, mostly live. Reasons are many.

Point is, I want to teach one person all the shit I know so they can carry on doing it, and bring something new. That person will just need to get the software, which I'll give to them in a list, and go from there. So if anyone wants to be an "Apprentice", give me a shout.

I also shout!

I've been trying to do industrial/industrial metal for a while, and would love to know a thing or two.

I'm only taking on one person. If that person wants to share it, they can go ahead, whatever. I suppose it comes down to who'll actually go and do something with it.

Well, that's fine, I'm ok with only one person.

I use various DAWs, depending on how I'm feeling. This crap'll focus on FLStudio, being the most intuitive.

What's the difference between electronic and noise, anyway?

I love the open ended feeling to FL, as my main tool is FL9.
I also love Reason, it has a more analogue feel to it. A DJ tried to get me to use Ableton Live, but I don't like the feel to it.

When I say electronic, I mean gabber, break shit, glitch, whatnot. Noise is just experimental.

AL is great for (Duh) live shit, but I couldn't use it for anything else. I never got into Reason, though. Anything I can do in there I can do in FL faster and easier.

I downloaded FL Studio a little while ago with aspirations of becoming the world's leading IDM producer or some shit but didn't find it very user-intuitive, so it would be appreciated to have some help figuring that shit out.

they all have the potential to do the same stuff, it's the process to make it that I love about Reason (and it's Scream 4 Distortion module)
