I've taught myself, never had enough money to spend on lessons. I like it that way because self teaching is fun.

I taught myself as well, it is more fun but I wish I got as good as you! I've been playing about the same time. I clearly have some catching up to do, lol

well, if you want any direction, I didn't get anywhere as good as I am til I found out about jaco, and I studied his style closely.
