I like shaved heads. I had a mohawk for years and loved it, and before the hawk, I had a fringe/chelsea for many years. I also completely shaved my head once...out of necessity because while bleaching my hair I damaged it so bad it was like melted.
You should post pics later

Shaved heads on girls, or better yet Mohawks, are ridiculously hot on women. I melted when I saw Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta. It very much depends on your face/cranial structure, however; it looks better on some than others.
I've shaved my head before, but then again I'm a male so this isn't that big a deal. I much prefer me deathhawk though

I'm agreeing with blackwater, mohawks and or shaved heads on women are hot, although I prefer women with mohawks. Anywho, I keep my hair at about 7/16" to 7/8", mainly because my hair does a wierd Elvis comb back thing when it gets long, so I keep it short.

eeee! Shaved heads are hot. I shaved mine a while ago before, but like Chelsea, it was because my hair was so damaged. But still, I loved it ^^ I think they look so elegant on women! And they can make you look anything from ethnic to android depending on how you dress/do your makeup.

Yeeer.
I was just out wearing my leather/denim jacket and uber-tight-bleached-jeans-of-doom.
With goggles strapped round my head.
I looked like a skinhead from the future.
'Twas interesting.
I was considering doing it chelsea style but decided I wanted to have the whole thing red and the same length.
But ohwell maybe another impulsive moment =]

According to hospital pics, I was born with a little fuzzy mohawk.

Pineapple Juice: But the Elvis look is not my look. I hate when my hair does that. Plus I'm a little bigger than Elvis was, I'm about 200.

My friend had a mohawk at one point. My parents hated her for it, but then my parents are ultra boring. She also had a chelsea at another time.
Now she just has short hair.
Edit: I'm actually the only one of my hometown friend-trio who has long hair, but then I'm the only one of my trio who has/does a lot of stuff.

Ah, well. Just subjecting my professional opinion. I like the greased black pomp.
And which Elvis era are you referring to?

I guess I'll stray from the common reply here and say that I, personally, am not a fan of shaved heads. At all. In fact, I adore long hair on both men and women.. Actually, I am so long-hair obsessed that I was slightly traumatized when I cut my hair short recently (went from hip length to shoulder blades) to get rid of damage.
However, I am not SO extreme about it that shaved heads appal me or anything, I just don't find them particularly attractive. To each their own, I suppose. :/

Mohawks are the best, I have one and I like to rub my shaved head on people's faces....because it's funny.

I shaved my head when I had a hawk. It didn't look particularly good, though; my hair's dark, and grows _fast_ so after a day or two my scalp was punctuated with black stubble all over. I miss it, though.

I wanna see photos of the stages.
You definitely get attached more to long hair, though--with shaved heads, at least, you don't have that 'something to lose' feeling.
My friends suggested that when I decide to shave and start growing my hair out again, that we light it on fire. As bad as this idea is, there's something very poetic about the idea of burning off all of your hair and starting anew. It's as if your hair is an old life, and like the phoenix you burn up, and life is reborn from the ashes.

I want to get a new job where I can afford to shave my head again. Too bad I already have one of the highest paying jobs in my shit town, & I'm used to being able to pay my bills. Oh well. If I ever get the chance, I'm bustin' out the Oster clippers!

I prefer longer hair personally. I would probably cry if my hair had to shaved off. I look downright awful with shorter hair, but shaved...meep. Some beauty queen type chick at my school had to get her hair shaved off for surgery. It's slowly growing out, but I personally think she looks better with it all gone. She looked kind of creepy before, with the perfect hair, and that weird beauty pageant false smile...
