Mine always turns out a touch chewy. Probably because I don't bake it as long as the recipe says to. I've always been a bit of an intuitive cook (most of my stuff doesn't even have a recipe, and never did).
But no complaints so far.
I didn't find making it all that difficult, just time intensive.
And that's awesome you won a state championship for yours.
Maybe we should start a thread for biscotti recipes? :P

Considering all the things I had/have to do, I had way too much fun last night. I would say it was worth it, but do I really need to?

I wanted to type about going to my Cousin's wedding on Sunday, but my internet was mean to me and wouldn't let me get online. Anyway, I had a great discussion with my had about the differences between Catholic and protestant religions, foreign languages, and the way time changes things like language. My dad's a cool guy, and really smart. Also, as it was a Catholic/Polish wedding, I was forced to do the Chicken dance, and my parents got it on tape >.<Biscotti is YUM-MAY!

Today was mostly work as usual.
I came by here today to see what has been going on. Al and EE, thanks for noticing.
I do read you all on occation, but I rarely take the time to post. There's just so much going on, and there's no access from home. I'll fix that when I move, and see the end of my seven-year stint with this company.

Why was your job raided by the FBI?
Today... March 16, 2005... I learned how to put a shemagh on.

I want to hear more about BOTH of these things. Elaborate?
Did it hurt? Tell me all about it- I was thinking of doing mine, since I can't get my sternum pierced until this summer.
And where *do* you work, missy? Mafia headquarters?

Seeing as your occupation is listed as *ahem*: "Homasidelmaniack"(??!) would this small building happen to be an underfunded psychiatric institution?

Well, today I took an anatomy exam on the Nervous System, the Senses, and the Endochrine System; I'm not thinking it was that difficult, plus the professor gave a possibility of 60 bonus points...and yet, most people in the class are failing.
Now, I'm waiting for the pest control agents to arrive, because I'm damned tired of killing huge cockroaches.

First off, getting your nipples pierced hurts like hell. It's like an orgasm, only pianful and centered on the piercing. But my piercer was really awesome, and that helped a lot. So if you do get ti done, aska round with your pierced friends and find out who really liked their piercer.
But I can not stress hte amount of pain enough. Nor the niftiness of lookinga t eh reslts int he mirror every morning. Well, at least teh next morning, anyway. Butt he novelty of my tattoohasn't worn off yet, so I seeno reason for this to wear off, either.
And as for my job. . .You know htose comercials for 'natural male enhancement' with the guy with thuge goofy grin? The ones wiht all the ugly people? Comedy Central sows a lot ofthese comercials.
It's called Berkeley Premium Neutraceuticals, it's web addy is BPN.com
I have no clue wh hte feds raided it. Whihc is a good thing, because htat shows I'm not involved.
I was at he library when a friend from wrk called ym cell. SO I went outside tot alk to him.
Ten mintues later I was speechless, just repeating "The FBI? OMG. THE FBI?" WHile pacing in front of the library in my trench coat.
Hoopefully I won't have to find a new job, but something tells me I will.

This morning a came from the south of Spain, Andalusia (I live in the north). I've stayed there because of a school trip, and now I'm very tired (I think I have slept 3 hours per day on an average... :shock .
It was so funny and I enjoy myself a lot. The worst is that I have a cold because of the change of temperature (there we had 25ºC and here it is so much colder), and I think I will miss the parties...
I'll post some pics someday..

*chuckles*
I'll bring a few bottels of wine and some of my female friends, and we'll all make a night of it.
