Densemanwalking, you are an idiot. I'm done talking to someone who thinks they ought to be above the law. Hope I'm never on the jury that renders a verdict over you killing a man running away from your house, no matter what they did. Cause if you live in my state, they do have the death penalty. And while this state IS more generous to homeowners regarding how much force you can use to defend your property, you still get prosecuted for murder if the bullet holes are in the criminals back, no matter whether he's on your property or not.

Obviously if they're running away you wouldn't shoot them, unless you're a psychopath. I should also point out that I'm respectful if others offer to have me over for a sit down,I try not to over stay my welcome and I try to be the most polite of guests,because I want to be treated with the same respect I offer that respect.
When/if someone storms over onto my property and tries to enforce their will on me or mine I will meet force with force,and what is left of that person (or persons) would be lucky to leave breathing,if that person (or those persons) were able to leave at all.

I wouldn't mind jail time if I could at least have the intruder do some time in jail - which also wonders me why he went free?
