im feeling a little suicidal
well im stuck in my room thinking about the people that i loved and lost..maybe they will raise up from the grave to make me happy....or tell me that they want to be with me again...or come and see me once in a while....im emotionally unstabble right now i wish that i had a huge knife.....school sux and i hardly have any friends...i would like to make some friends on here....so write me back and introduce yourself...my name is amanda and i live in joplin,missouri,usa...im 17 years old.....

How about posting an intro in the intro board?
There's a sticky with questions to answer.
Also, read the rules/regulations/suggestions for surviving on here.

Darkangel, I lost my step-dad last October to suicide, and can't even describe how it destroys the lives of the ones left behind. I really hope you aren't seriously considering this. Please post an introduction to yourself in the intro folder, because it's part of g.net's rules of etiquette. You'll find more people willing to talk to you then.

im not considering suicie but i just feel that way sometimes...there are too many things in life to miss out on if i do it..so nobody freak out its just the way i am..

I think most of us do at one time or another. I've had my moments quite a bit this last year, actually. My mom came dangerously close to suicide a few times too. I had to talk her out of it one time. Talk about traumatizing.
The important thing is recognizing when it's a real problem and getting help for it.
As for the introductions, it warms us up to you more, rather than jumping in and saying you feel this way or another without letting us know more about you. The people here are very cautious with newbies, or very nosy, or a combination of those and more. We like to know what your hobbies are, as well as your musical and literary preferences, so we can praise you for your tastes, or blast you for them. You'll probably get a little of both.  But just like in real life, these little courtesies help us know the person we're talking to, as opposed to some random stranger walking up to us on the street and saying, "I'm feeling suicidal..." Call me over-cautious if you may, but that wouldn't get the desired response from me.

Life isn't that harsh if you don't want it to be...
If you change the prospective that you see things, you'll feel alot better.... It's not an easy thing to do...
And honey, you're 17... It's a very young age and you got time to do lots of stuff, you'll meet plenty of people!! I know it sucks being without friends, been there almost my entire life... Just think that when you do find that person who deserves being called a friend, it'll be totally worth it...

She just wants attention, don't give her it. What really galls me about these types is that they've gone through nothing compared to the likes of, for instance, $haDe. And he even stays positive throughout it all. You're a great inspiration, $haDe!

How do you know she's gone through nothing?
When people go through different situations they react differently, so the death (or loss) of a beloved may cause extreme pain to someone, if it's death, for example, I'm happy for the person who died....... It all goes back to what life is for you...
If she's in pain, i sympathize...
