Cat fights =/= attractive.

The only time a fight is worth watching is when all participants have enough training that it appears more as a dance than people smacking each other around, eg: Wing Chun

I watch tv, maybe too much, and they always show "oooo cat fights are so hot"
But i never questioned why, till the time where i was out with my ex, and we went to those huge stores where they sell everything just to make fun of kids, stuff... Etc... Anyway, we were walking by the tv section, and there was a commercial where a girl slaps the other *two girls are both somewhat attractive*, he just froze staring into the screen, i said, what's the matter,. He said "she just slapped her!!" and then they start ripping each others hair off... I said "what's so interesting about that?", he said "that's hot!! Too girls fighting"
I said, WHY?, he just looked at me and said "i don't know"
I thought he was just avoiding the answer

But i see now that it's not every guy's taste
I thought it was like guys liking porn or something O_x"

I don't know about where you're from, but where I'm from, "cat fights" are fights between girls that involve only slapping and hair pulling.
The girl fights guys in my area find sexy are the knock-down, drag-out fist fights like guys have...but I'm rambling.
Fighting gets adrenaline pumping so does watching a fight. So I assume it just makes them horny.

When my sister gets in a fight it's for real. One time an old boyfriend she used to live with made the mistake of hitting her. He realized this mistake immediately and locked himself in their bathroom and started crying. She broke her foot kicking the door down and still beat the shit out of him.

My mom took military classes in school (it was the soviet union) and she used to be the fastest in class in assembling automatic shotguns, when not looking, who's hardcore now?

To answer (or at least give an insight) the original question, I do not know what to say really.

I am not into cat fights as erotic entertainment, but I guess it is like a car accident: there is suffering, there is blood and mayhem, and we all slow down to take a peek.

It must be rooted to some primal brain function (which one? I do not know).

And people have weird fetishes. I like Japanese ropework, latex, asphixiation, gagging and tears. They have names for all of these fetishes and for the love of me, I do not know why I like them (okay, I am lying. I do now why I like some of my fetishes).

As far as cat fights go, it must be tied to control and procreative instincts. I imagine in the olden days of Ug and the Cromags, that after a female on female fight, the looser would be available for mating (if she was not killed, being all tired and probably unconsious). Or the other way around, the victor showed aggressiveness, cunning and a strong will to survive (DNA factors?).

I don't know. Sorry.

They like cat fights for the same reason they like to see women wrestling in mud, there is some liklihood that one or more of the women will be declothed or that their physical exertions and the close contact will excite their sexual desires. It is a fantasy for lonely men.

It is a fetish in a way, i think. I dont care to see girls fight. But it is the thought of 2 girls together. if they are fighting or making out. I have never seen a real fight between 2 girls where they rip each others clothes off and then make out afterwards. It is kinda what the media and others have put in our heads to think it is hot. Just some form of guys boosting their testosterone to each other. Aight, im going to ramble.. ill stop. i dont think its hot. there.
