any good online support groups?
Does anyone know of any good online support groups for general issues of depression, anxiety, stress management, etc? Does such a thing exist? I ran across an MSN group once that was a specific support group, but I couldn't really tell what was going on and didn't really fit that group's specifics. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks

Some of us are much more supportive than others. Honestly if you need help you can find it here, as long as you don’t act like a whiney little attention whore.

Wow, how did I miss this thread.
Hon, if you have questions, these people can come up with answers. This is a very diverse group, and they're all very intelligent.. One of us has probably "been there, done that", at the very least. Probably more than one.

It's not anything specific. I just suffer from general symptoms of anxiety and depression and have trouble coping with stress or even activities that shouldn't be stressful. It's starting to make me feel physically sick. The online support groups I've found so far are for victims of sexual abuse or issues of substance abuse. Those aren't really my issues. I really just need some support and help coping and making decisions.

A quick Google.com search reveals a lot of different online support groups for depression. Though the danger is always finding a bunch of people trying to convert people -- fucking vultures.
Anyways.
You will find some help here because a lot of people around here face depression in one way or another. Blatant cries for attention will likely be recieved with scorn and rage, so be warned.
Post any threads in Whining which despite its title is really where people talk about emotional issues.

There actually is A general suicide thread. For everyone! Feel free to use it.
Also, because it's in Whining, son't think people think any less of your problems. When you think about it, it is quite appropo because when you think about it, it's all whining!

pish-posh. you didn't lose them, you cut them off. don't like your decision? grow 'em back. it's hard to let go of long hair - i cut 2 1/2 feet off and i still feel odd.
as for giving your jesus-love - new evidence points to jesus being born in canada. so, give us some of that canadian-jesus love.

Well... If there's new evidence and all... I suppose I can stop being an over-emotional wuss and show some love as opposed to being blind to it :P Huzzah.

Nah... leaving for good would only happen if it turned out that I was... less than welcome.

Any reason why did you resurrected year-old posts?
