Yabadaboo as said the elders

Well, here I am, *insert tada music here* brand new on this... site! *other tada song*
As I'm not in really productive day (means that my brain is on a strike, as usual) I've just past the old questions and fit with my answers. Yep.

1. What do you do?
I'm an Au Pair in England. For the moment.

2. Where are you from?
well, I was born in Paris, France but I've travelled a lot.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Zola, Poe, Tolkien (all hail), Baudelaire, Laclos, Sade (all hail too), Cioran, Camus (all hail for both of them), Beckett and so many actually...

4. What are your favorite films?
Gattaca, Le Roi et l'Oiseau, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Les Enfants du Paradis, Hotel du Nord...

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
My wedding? *hysteric laughter* this song they play with a trumpett in the old movies about the Sessession, you know, when soldiers are finishing to die of the field, there's no body but the hero ans this saaad sad song. Makes a lovely weeding.

6. At your funeral?
"le Moribond" of Jaques Brel

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Chocolate overdose.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
*...* A what?

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Dunno, all my clothes, muwhahahaaaaaaa!!!! My Little Princess dress.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
the Tooth Fairy. And the power of cuteness when in danger (still have it, but it's not the same now)

11. What's your favorite band?
I'm really obliged to have one? Let's say the Sweetest Disease.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I don't want to talk about it *pouts*

13. Why did you join?
I was bored and... No, I was looking for a British goth communauty. So I could meet people and start going out again.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female. I'm pretty sure I'm a girl.

Yay, now you know pretty inutile stuff about me, isn't it wonderfull?

Yep, je le suis a 100% meme! Le serais-tu aussi?
Well, I stated english in school, like 6 years ago... (my gosh, SIX years... I'm ooooold *cries*)
Thank you for the compliment anyway *blush*

Being Au Pair is cool, actually I have a lot of fun, but it appears that I have a nice family, sometimes it's a bit harder. But yay, I'm paid for watching tv with a kid! Lol.
I have some website adress if you want to check how it is.

Yeah, but I have an advantage, english is way easier to learn as a foreign language. And moreover, I had many reasons to leran it quickly:
-Tolkien
-Steinbeck
-JkRowling
and mostly I was sick of the french version of english movies.

Well, France is not anywhere near my top ten list, or even top twenty. I have been there twice and felt the whole place was overrated. Yes the Louvre is awesome but it would be awesome no matter where it was located.

Welcome, Lady.

You seem very French. You like Brel. And you used the word "inutile" in everyday conversation.

I like you.

I've never had the occassion or priviledge to knowingly correspond with a person from France (and I have not done so also in the Realm of Reality). I am, therefore, delighted to welcome you to GNet. I have always wanted to go to France...

...and the UK,
...and Italy,
...and Germany

*sigh*

You're right, but there's still some wonderfull things in France appart from the Louvre, the main problem with the country is it's inhabitants.
And I know what I'm talking about... *heavy sigh*

Is that why you live in England now? Are the inhabitants in that country any better?

You may be one of the only person I've seen who use "french" as a positive thing to say, lol.

And by the way, nice quote, I always knew Joker was great.

They're not better, they're different.

Naaah, I'm in England to improve my poor english by a daily practice ^^
Anyway, even if I'm very critical about France, I still love it.
As much as anyone can love a idea and a concept, but, there it is, I'm french, and somehow quite proud of it ^^

My sentiment exactly. France would be alright if it wasn't for the people, especially Parisians.

From some aspects, I would agree; but I think it relies entirely upon expectation. I enjoyed Florence and Rome. I also attended midnight mass at the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel is glorious but I also think the Chapel at Fatima is brilliant.

And I have been to the polar ice cap so nanner, nanner, nanner.

Considering my last name is Davignon, I also have links to French heritage; but its only French by marriage (mother remarried and adopted the last name). A French ancestor from my father's side was a captain of a pirate ship and is one of the reasons the family immigrated to the US.

Yeah, we are, like, the worst people ever, lol, we have good resons though : the numbers of tourists in Paris each year.
I've heard that New-Yorkers and Parisians behave quite the same, (being parisian before being french and that kind of stuff)

Well, I've been to the blue caves in Greece and to Bethlehem, nah! (I'm not religious, it was just a part of the trip)

You know, that your pirate ancestor may be recorder still in some old papers?
Have you an idea of the years when he was living?
With a name like that, he may even be a noble.
