When this started I thought this was going to be a real thread... my dad is really good wih languages, and he's been teaching himself Japanese for a couple years now. He can follow basic plots of stories and mangas and anime, but he got bored, so now he's taking up Korean 0.o I wish I could catch on that quickly to a language.
