It was a single worded question dripping with angst and existential inquiry.
Anything that has happened, is happening, will happen, or WON'T happen doesn't have a purpose. To think otherwise just implodes in its own futility.
So the only question worth asking, ever is 'why?'

You're talking as if you're absolved of being a hypocrite, which, we both know, is utter poppycock.
There's a big difference between intolerance towards idiotic behaviour and intolerance towards say.... homosexuality, and the difference isn't that I belong to one group that isn't tolerated and not the other, because I belong to both.
One is a sexual preference the other is a motivated action. When someone is persecuted for being homosexual, they are being unjustly punished for belonging to a group which is in the abstract; neutral, neither positive or negative. However, acting like an idiot on the other hand, is quite negative, likely to annoy, likely to involve foolish behaviour that potentially endangers others and it displays are general ignorance, not to mention an inclination not to take responsibility, why should it be tolerated? Of course I could always be childish and argue that intolerance of our intolerance only breeds more, and smack you with your own hammer of righteousness.
