I'm not sure but Pastor Riley spent a whole sermon on how someone who is even remotely gay is going to hell if they don't repent and then spent half a sermon preaching on how God helped him get a really great deal on his new Escalade. They also protested at a local strip club but then flipped shit when the strip club dared to protest on them at their mega church (or place of business? It's seriously bigger than a football stadium and is more theatrics than anything and yet they still constantly demand 'donations' in exchange for prayer)
Similar, no?

My dad has also been born again. It was really interesting when it first started, because he was so far from religious throughout my entire life until that point. For the most part, it hasn't really made him any better of a person. The only difference is that now he reprimands me more frequently for saying things like shit, fuck and pussy, but he says the same things.
I'm not entirely against his new god-loving madness because I think it helped him stop drinking. It was pretty bad at one point, and he stopped right around the time he was born again or whatever.
On a few occasions, I went to church with him because he'd asked me to, and I always felt pretty uncomfortable. I just didn't like the vibes, and I'm not a religious person at all.
BUT HE'LL ALWAYS BE MORE LOYAL TO THE FREEMASONS THAN TO ANY OTHER AUTHORITY, EVEN GOD HIMSELF.

The benefits take a while sometimes. After being shutdown daily for years via alcohol, the frontal lobes need some prolonged clarity to recover from atrophy.

I mentioned it to my dad, he sort of scoffed but that's about it. I guess he figures that since it's my uncle's church and not his church that it's not his problem?
