Son OF Sam

Has any one herd of this band. This band is a side project for all its members. Its composed of vocalist Davey Havok (AFI), drummer London May (Samhain, Tiger Army, Dag Nasty), bassist Steve Zing(Samhain, Chyna) and guitarist Todd Youth (Danzig, D-Generation, Murphy's Law, Agnostic Front, Warzone, Samhain etc.). Came to gether after a tour to gether. If u have heard of them leave your thoughts.

Why do some of them look like Danzig clones?

Probably because they are just Samhain with a new vocalist (ie. Havok instead of Danzig). For those who didn't know Samhain came into being after Jerry Only and Robo left the MisFits. Then Danzig created samhain, which got sued over naming violations (some other band had the rights to the name), so they became Danzig, but by then Day and Zing left and have been working real jobs and a few side projects until SOS came about.

Yes, I'm a MisFits fan, and I know Danzig, Only, and Day

Shoulda known when it said they were from Samhain.

:P

And I don't care WTF any of you have against Danzig, I happen to think he's a hell of a vocalist.

I keep hearing my husband saying,"If Elvis and Jim Morrison had a love-child............."And I believe one of the guys from Anthrax has said much the same, but how many girls do you know that wanna sleep with any of those guys?

I like Son of Sam a lot. I had their cd songs from the earth but it was just a burned copy and it got destroyed. I cant find their cd or their songs to download anywhere. Does anybody know where I might be able to find them? Like a site that has the cd for sale or something? Or is it even still available?

I first downloaded the album of Soulseek, then I ordered it off amazon.com.

I bloody loved it. Not only do I adore Danzig and all his affiliations and fellow band members, I am also deeply enamoured with Davey Havok('s voice).

Son of Sam deffinintly had their moments. I was lucky enough to come across one of the first prints of 'songs from the earth', amazing what you can find in the used bin.
