Yes fishnet should be added. But velvet is good enough for me

I'll take Denim for pants, Cotton for Shirt, Socks and Undies.

Ooh, two materials,
I'm such a rebel

I like the velvet and lace aesthetic, although that's probably more out of nostalgia than anything else. Velvet is a pain in the ass because most kinds require dry cleaning, and lace rips in the washer.
But there is something about the combination of heavy velvet and delicate lace that works for me. I really like the look.

Linen, or sheer, flowy material. Or shantung. Mmmmm. ::salivates::That is, as long as I'm not trying to make it into anything historical. Then again, I never claimed to be terribly goth...

All of these complicated, pretty fabrics (fishnet, lace, velvet, etc.) are sooo pretty too look at, but to wear... I'd have to have a lot of time on my hands. Cotton's just easier, 'specially when you're a college kid who hates doing laundary.

I love the feel of cotton, because its cool and crisp as bedsheets.

Hello, Hello, I'm coming through my new skin

skin is also highly decoratable, easy to mend, and always the right size.

I'm fond of any fabric with an interresting texture. I love silks and satins and velvets (except when I have to wash them). Lace irritates my skin, but it's pretty.

So, for nice clothing, suede or velvet or silk.

But for every day, jeans and cotton are my favorites. maybe a litlte bit of fishnet here and there.

Nothing like hemp, either. Show how much you support the most debated herbal remedy/illegal substance. And the scratching just makes you even more interresting at parties!

A friend of mine, before starting to shag a girl he met in a bar, told her: I'm gonna give you a saliva pajama.

Yeah... sometimes I feel like a hypocrit because I'm a vegitarian, but I wear leather (only a pair of boots). I'm not a vegitarian because I think eating meat is wrong, I just think if someone is going to eat meat they should kill the animal themselves. Since I'm not a hunter, and I wouldn't want to raise animals, I don't eat meat. Seinfeld's awesome. I named my dog after Cosmo Kramer.

But if you get one, wear it with pride.

What made you include corduroy in the list? really...

I mean, the thing is extinct.

I prefer lace, but for everyday stuff cotton is great.

as for the pearl necklace... I second Soul_Immortal

Are you kidding? Corduroy is everywhere lately. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but it's there.

Heh, for me courderoy says "little kid". I haven't worn it since I was young, when my mom thought it was cute to dress me in it. I guess my favorite clothing materials would have to be leather, pleather or pvc. Leather or pleather look especially good with lace cuffs, like this slinky black Lip Service top I have that's made out of some sort of slinky leather-like material. Maybe I oughta look at the label and see what it's made of, lol!

I actually LIKE corduroy! Its cozy and makes for nice pants. For anything else though, I rather think not. I really like lace, but its irritating against the skin..
