The birth day morning started off kind of sucky. The bird was screamy and the GirlBat was uncooperative about getting ready for her school. Then when I got back home from dropping her off some mild shit hit the fan with financial stuff that I had to tend to immediately. Was able to catch my ManBat for a text chat on facebook but his connection sucked nads and he kept getting dropped so we could barely carry on a decent conversation.
Around lunch time things started looking up. Mom + Dad + I went out to eat for brunch-but-closer-to-lunch. I had Salmon Benedict. Then Mom + I hit the mall and she got me a beautiful long black velvet skirt. We looked at handbags, but the selection wasn't so hot.
After that we all went to pick up GirlBat from school. Mom + Dad helped her with homework. I did my last page of HW @ lightening speed, changed into my scrubs + went to my Lab. Teacher was streaming Michael Jackson + disco on Pandora + I was dancing while scoping out little purple bacteria. Now I have "Play That Funky Music White Boy" going through my head.
Had dinner out @ Red Lobster. My entree was lobster + shrimp on linguine with White Zin. GirlBat totally demolished a plate of crab legs
. Dessert was a fabulous slice of chocolate cake ala mode. All of it was absolutely divine! We each headed to our respective sleeping places. I poured myself a rum + coke + left it on my bedside table. Then snuggled with GirlBat after the critters were fed + ended up falling asleep next to her.
Now I'm sipping the cocktail whilst crawling around the web. I am content tonight.
