Envy, I only got my first cookbook last week XD How It All Vegan. I never understood the cook book hype at all since there are so many recipe sites, but damn, there's a lot of things in it that I could never find online.
When I was little my mom went on a diet, and therefore we ALL went on a diet. I was really super picky and would just sit there, refusing to eat her god awful meatloaf, until she finally caved and made me a platter of fruit, crackers and cheese.

Back when I was vegan, Vegan With A Vengeance was my best friend.

I'm trying to go vegetarian too, but it's hard when you've got a mom who insists you eat the meals she prepares, 99% of which are meat-involved.
She doesn't understand my motives, she thinks I'm just being anorexic. Oh well. As soon as I'm freed from her reign, I'm going vegetarian. Mark my words!

I've heard of that one but haven't seen it in the store, I'm thinking about getting the Veganomicon and Becoming Vegan, I heard they are the bible(s) of vegan cooking.
And I can't wait for Cook, Eat, Thrive: Vegan Recipes from Everyday to Exotic to come out in July ^_^ Joy Tienzo has been on Vegan Freak Radio a few times and it just makes me too hungry to listen to her talking about the food she makes *drool*

Teriyaki chicken sushi I found in the fridge, to my utmost delight. Not sure how long it's been there, though. I feel rather ill.

I didn't snag a pic of the feast before it all got eated, but I did get a pic of the heart cake, simply because Kim's sister also made her a cake, and it was an AWESOME cake, depicting the murder scene, a friend took a pic of that so when I get it I'll post it so you see what I mean. Anyway, so my cake was neglected save for everyone picking off the strawberries. I also didn't get to finish it, I wanted to use red icing for the center and have a white icing border, but I ran out of time so I did it all in blue and used strawberries for the inside heart:

Tofu pretzel dog. I ran out of flour, had three cups, needed four. So I put in a cup of vital wheat gluten, and was terrified the entire time that it was going to taste seitanic.
Thankfully, it turned out delicious.

I'm eating curry-from-a-can with +turmeric for +fun. I put it on this spinach rice vermicelli, which is this amazing phosphorous green. The noodles look like the should glow in the dark. Sadly they don't : ( . They're that colour of green. I love them.

LaBelle, I'm not sure what I'm looking at. One part of me is like "It looks vegan" and the other side like "She's trying to trick you" XD

I don't know what the picture is, but it's not actually what I'm talking about. It's just the green colour that is the same. Ignore that brown stuff. And everything except the green colour. I'm talking about regular vermicelli, but green and "spinach flavoured," even though it doesn't taste like spinach. I couldn't find a picture of the noodles themselves...
Aha! I win. It's this that I'm talking about.

I have all of Sarah Kramer's books and Vegan With A Vengeance. I also have Veganomicon and it's definitely worth it. I also humbly suggest Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World.
I'm a cookbook fanatic. Sick part is I can't cook for shit and have tried less than 3% of the recipes in any of the books. I just like looking at the pictures or the recipes and drooling, and then making my other friends cook them for me.

It's rather quenching.

Falafel pita. Trying to decide if I want to get drunk and watch Clint Eastwood films with friends, and eat nachos.
