GetJar argues that it doesn't compete with Apple's App Store, which is a closed system. Instead, GetJar is serious about distributing free applications to whoever wants them. Apple hasn't responded to GetJar's emotional reaction.

I love it even more when little companies (GetJar isn't that big) say "fuck you, we won't be intimidated" to any big company, but especially to Apple, with their over inflated sense of entitlement and self-worth.
