Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Cicero-FUCK YEAH to all five. I have a new best friend. I'm slowly falling in love with Morrissey more and more each day.

For me:

the Cure
OhGr
the Adicts
Sisters of Mercy
Ministry (mainly early-mid though)

Talk about intergration.

YUSS, Morrissey is God. And the Smiths have just brightened my life so much lately. I'd listened to them for years without being too crazy about them, but just a few months ago Morrissey's voice just latched onto my brain and wouldn't let go.

There's something about him beyond his voice that really gets me like that...Maybe it's the gloomy but lovable English vanity he gives off, haha.

The lyrics do have that quality to them. And so many of them feel like they've come straight out of my mind, it's great. He's so direct, but with such English charm.

Don't remember if I've posted in this one or not but my 5 faves are (in no particular order):

The Cure
U2
the cranberries
*Those are the time tested and proven true ones*

At the moment I'm willing to favorite Lacuna Coil and Nick Cave + the Bad Seeds as well

1: Iron Maiden
2: Arch Enemy
3: Disturbed
4: Red Warszawa(A danish comedy-metal kinda band with ridiculously fun lyrics. They label themselves as Polish Punk, but they have nothing to do with punk.)
5: Any decent metal band could fill this spot I suppose.

Android Lust are some kind of faggy industrial/aggrotech crap.

And I'm actually upset by you saying IM are techno.
They're Psy-Trance.
I'm sick of people saying electronic music is techno.
Techno is just really shit electronic music.

Well, thanks for your opinion, Malice; I'll take it into consideration while continuing to rock to the music I enjoy. ^_^

I couldn't care less what genre they are, to be honest; I just listen to what I enjoy. *shrug*

Any genre welcome.
Since I'm a punk:
1. Dead Kennedys
2. Conflict
3. Charged GBH
4. Crass
5. Discharge (the early stuff)
I couldn't decide my absolute favorite bands out of all genres, so since I'm mostly a rocker I'll name my five favorite rock bands.

1- Alien Sex Fiend
2- Christian Death
3- BauHaus
4- The Cure
5- The Sisters of Mercy
