There's this wonderful thing called "non dairy milk". How this works is that hundreds of years ago, people discovered that plants can make milk substitutes. Almond milk for example was a delicacy in medieval Europe. Crazy of what people think of!

Neat! Do you know of any non-diary eggs and butter that I can use?

It doesn't need eggs. The awesome recipe I use you add something like a tablespoon of oil, which binds it together.
And margarine is mostly vegetable oil, there's earth balance and becel vegan.
ETA: Oh wait, non diary eggs? There's quite a few I know that do not have a live journal.

You should send me that recipe.
I don't know what ETA means: Live journal? Did I read that right?

Edited To Add. You said "non diary eggs", instead of non dairy. I couldn't not joke about it!
The recipe I use is the one in this reply, only maple syrup is bloody expensive so sometimes I sub with brown sugar as a sweetener.

Damn it, spelling checker! My confidence has been shaken.
And thank you. I'm going to use this recipe for evil, now.

I mentioned the time my friend insisted they were dairy products, and came from pigs, right? Don't worry, you'll never top that.

I've avoided it as of late too as I didn't know what to expect from it but I've been told really good reviews about it.
Maybe time to take a nerdleap of faith?

I think you would like it. Aside from having an interesting storyline, likable characters, and an amazing musical score; It's really thought provoking. There are a lot of modern themes in it, like extreme religious fundamentalism, martial law clashing with civil liberties, women's rights, ect.

Yeah, reading the wiki page it seems like something I'd go for. I'll check it out when exams are over.

Plus, Ronald Moore made a sci-fi series that largely avoids using technobabble. After reading that, I just moved the whole series to the front of my NetFlix Instant Watch queue!

Yeah. That show is pretty much Star Wars science fiction, not Star Trek science fiction. The particulars are kind of there in the background, and the "how?" and "why?" play a very minimal role. But that's okay, though. It's not the biggest appeal.
And I like technical jargon. It makes it easier for me to suspend disbelief.

It has the opposite effect on me. It usually sounds awkward coming out of the actors mouths, like their tongues are too big fat for their skull. Seriously, it rarely sounds like natural speech to me.

Women should just learn to projectile pee, that woman who climbed Everest who came to 'inspire us' at highschool related with much glee how awesome she felt when she sloppily wrote her name in the snow with piss.
