New job in activities starts a week from Monday. More hours and better pay, so my bank account will be happy, plus the boss isn't a total bitch so I think I'll be a bit happier too.

I don't think I've ever had a boss that I couldn't get along with.

So far I've liked all of them except for Nan, I found that not getting along with my boss really adds a lot of stress and agitation to work.

I have to go to Benidorm *gag* for a hen weekend (bachelor-ette party for those in the US ) at the end of this month, and on the Saturday night instead of the whole rigmarole of dressing up in schoolgirl or nurse costumes as is so often done, the bride suggested a simpler and cheaper option of us all getting a daft wig to wear.

I'm going for the bleached Winehouse effect with this one

http://www.fancydressoutfitters.co.u...hab-wig-blonde

I chose it due to the colour being the complete opposite of mine, I haven't been blonde since I was 18 , and I would have the option to wear it at some other event that may need the use of a wig, such as a masquerade ball if I ever get the chance to go to one ( I don't want to spend money on something I'll only use once ) . Plus it's cheaper than some of the others on there.

Speaking of masquerade ball, I do have a really pretty masqerade type mask that would go with that wig now I think of it. BONUS.

Ever noticed that if you eat the right amount of pork products, it tastes minty?
Doesn't happen with beef, just pork.

Honeythorn, your huge, garish fish banner will definitely do nothing to sway anyone from treating their pets irresponsibly. It will serve only to agitate members of gothic.net. In fact, I'm considering purchasing a hundred goldfish and smearing them into my curtains one by one until you take that shit down.
Not only is it distracting, it's self-righteous to the point of absurdity. Who cares if a fish owner finds admires the way his or her pet looks? Does doing so somehow preclude taking proper care of the animal? No.

honeythorn, I have to agree with gothicusmaximus on this. The banner in your signature is a bit too much for appearing in every one of your posts. What's more, it is so big and obnoxious that it probably would have the exact opposite effect of what you desire with most folks ... although I've noticed that the overwhelming majority of respondents here have been entirely sympathetic to your position on fish care.

It seems to me the issues you've had with people and their bad fish husbandry has been largely in other forums. Perhaps those are the places this message would be more effective to post, if you can do so without getting yourself banned again for posting the dreaded *face-desk* message.

I like it at that size. I mean the image. I understand about the text, but you could actually add the text under the image in your signature and that would be eminently readable. But the image of that beautiful Betta is nice at that size.

I've always liked this rhyme:

"I laughed at all of your jokes,
my love, you didn't need to coax"

In fact, I like the lyrics of the entire song and the story it tells, but that one line has always knocked me out.

That is all.

I need a new computer desk and bookshelf, but the prices for these are outrageous. I was thinking about building my own inside my apartment. I sleep all day so I'd have to do this around 3 or 4 in the morning when I'm awake. What do you think? Good idea or GREAT idea?

GREAT IDEA if you have no interest in getting along with your neighbors.

After all, who gives a fuck about them, right?

My sentiments exactly Ben. If they don't like it they can move. Being considerate to others is for suckers.

I'm seriously considering keeping a flask of vodka in my desk at work and maintaining an alcohol buzz throughout the day.

Speaking of Vodka, this afternoon I shall get a bit merry on it, because Mir is round this way and we're going to do a two man invasion of the Wetherspoons in Brum ^__^
