what seats or bowel movements?

And why is it that male parents can spend hours on the toilet without being disturbed but when I scratch the kitty litter, it's busier than grand central station!

Because mothers release hormones that alert children to relaxation mode. The very moment a mother gets a moment of peace, both children and any men in the house catch wiff of these relaxation hormones and since these hormones have the opposite effect on everyone but women.

That is why women tend to relax in groups that consist of mostly women.

On a serious note, eating plenty of veggies will help with BMs as well, that's how I usually manage that stuff. I'm sure squatting would only help that much more. Whatever works, if there's any thing I've learned so far, staying regular is staying happy.

I enjoy both immensely. They are great
Also, Ape's hormone theory seems to be plausible

The hormones, also work on cats. They seem to know when I can't move and either flush the toilet on me, or try and sit on my lap. I seriously think this was TMI.

My hypothesis is that the beings of the house (whether they be furred or not) are aware that the female is occupied, so it's either a perfect time to come into the bathroom, and run off with the tube of toothpaste/toilet paper/hairbrush/facecream or whatever, and then spread it around the house, or start a lecture about something that could have waited five minutes.

OMFSM, the cats are terrible about giving space when it comes to potty time. They'll follow any one into the loo and watch any one pee.

People ought not be watched whilst peeing. It's not healthy.

I thought you knew I'm a floozy and I'll give my heart to anyone.... or is that fart, I'm always getting heart and fart mixed up.

AND you boys are the worst... you use urinals, where you all just line up and anyone can watch you pee. And if there is a little boy in there, you can hear them yell "Yipee, I peed in the toilet" and you know all the big boys just want to say the same thing.

Anyway the spectators have dwindled since I put a $50 surcharge on bothering me in the toilet. It seems that things that used to be urgent, aren't... wonder why? Even the cats understood the price of a ticket. Instead they sit outside the door and meow - and who said you couldn't train a cat.

Definately fart. A Battyheart is too valuable to be passed around.

For the record, not all guys are comfortable with urinals... :P

Hmm, ticketing peace-disturbers seems like an efficient way to go indeed

I know all guys aren't comfortable with urinals.

My poor old battyheart, has been beaten blue and bloody. It's shattered and broken into tiny little pieces that have been superglued together. But I got so used to it being broken, I ended up accepting it, just as the cats have accepted the $50 entrance fee to nag me on the loo.

Indeed, but it's life, and you have to learn to deal with the heartbreaks and somehow find a way to move on.
