< is horrible to put it mildly. < ran into the flu, stomach problems and all.
<'s last foreign language film...? Well, English is not <'s native language, so probably half of The Rabbit Proof Fence in my English class. If it has to be something other than English, it would probably be Der Untergang - which is a loooong time ago.

What is ^v thinking about at this moment?

< has heard a really good one. It's the one where a person on Youtube claimed that Christine Daae was useless in The Phantom of the Opera.
If that does not count, then not really

Did v^ do anything nice lately?

< Celebrated Hanukkah on behalf of her Jewish father, and revived the entire series of the Addams Family on DVD.

Has v been good at tolerating winter chilliness?

< is happy for ^ about the Addams Family!

< has lots of layers to keep cozy with so is staying warm when convinced to venture out. It's difficult to do that though, with no "real" things calling me out such as work or school. Previously, walking the dog would be a sufficient enough "excuse", but the current condition of our yard allows him to go out there to do his business without fear of poking a paw pad on a spiky weed.

What does V think about the whole "War On Christmas" thing, regardless of their personal spiritual beliefs?

If by "war on Christmas" ^ means the trend that has hit America(and probably other places) where it is a mortal sin to wish someone a merry Christmas because they might not be Christian, then < thinks that it is ridiculous and horrible that people can't just accept that Christmas is a cultural thing in a lot of countries, and that you don't have to be a Christian to take part in the joy that fills the Christmas month.
< is not Christian AT ALL, but < still celebrates Christmas all out and probably cares more about Christmas tradition than the people around him.
Luckily, this "war on Christmas" has not hit Denmark and hopefully never will.

Does v like waffles?

Is ^ V looking forwards to watching `The Hobbit` next year (Honeythorn sent me the teaser trailer for it last night, and it looks pretty damn awesome so far) ?

Nah, Santa doesn't even care enough to give < coal. < will be lucky to receive a pile of dog feces and an "I owe you more" note.

< Is excited for both Hobbit and Prometheus. If you have not seen the trailer for either, do so. Now.

What are some of V New Years resolutions?

What does V think of the Kindle? A good idea or nothing compared to a real book?

< thinks that real books are the bestest! They can be tossed in a bag and taken just about anywhere. One doesn't have to worry about glare on the screen or batteries running out. They are light weight (well paperbacks). The bias of < toward real books is mostly because < has the habit of dropping things in the tub. The phones have gone under a couple times and thankfully survived but don't want to tempt fate with other electronic devices. < must confess to setting up her laptop by the tub a couple times to watch a DVD and study for anatomy lab but nerves were sort of on-edge the whole time so < doesn't want to repeat those scenarios.

Does V feel like admitting to doing anything stupid that they know they shouldn't do but they do it anyway? It's not meant to go into serious relationship type stuff, more along the lines of < taking electronics near water!

< has had a good day so far !!!.

Perhaps ^^ should invest in a reading tray for ^ ^ `s bath time literary intake, as paper and bath water do not mix !!!.

Hopes V ^ has a most excellent xmas tomorrow !!!.

< already celebrated Christmas as the eve of the Christmas dinner and present day in Denmark is the 24th in the evening
< does not know about America and other places though, but < heard it was the 25th. Is this true?

Does v ever go somewhere to window shop but end up buying something because v feels that it would be rude not to?

< thinks that ^ was clever in their reply, but is scowling slightly at the cop-out of a post.
< is also noticing a rumbly in her tummy and realizing that coffee and some mild painkillers are the only things she's consumed so far today It's quarter til one already and for the good of the whole house hold this situation must be remedied.

To answer ^ ^, no I usually do not buy stuff just to feel polite. It is more of an impulse driven thing for me. But, if I were at someone's house and they made food and drink I would feel obligated to consume some of it.

What sort of loot did V get? What did V give?

< got a personal scale, a tie needle, a golden watch, a gift card to a music store(the kind with CDs) and some vitamins.
< gave out mostly gift cards to people without wishlists, and then < gave some Christmas aquavit(I swear, that is what the dictionary says. Please let me know if this word makes no sense) and < also gave money for some ornaments and such.

What is v doing on New Year's Eve?

< does not know what she's doing for NYE yet. It is the 15 year anniversary of the night she + Mr. Kitty met. Is suspecting they will have a movie night with some wine and dessert after the Kitten goes to bed, and probably some gaming in TOR as well.

^ inspired a Google session. if by aquavit ^ means the booze, then right on! < is having trouble finding what a "Tie Needle" is though.

How is V feeling in the post-Christmas wind down?

< did indeed mean booze. It's a popular drink in Scandinavia.

By tie needle, < meant a tie clip.
The direct translation from Danish to English is tie needle.
< is tired and ill, < blames that :P!

< didn't have time to feel that, < is too busy feeling like <'s sinuses are about to pop.

Did v get lucky and avoid the winter flu?
