Greetings and Welcome to Gothic.net. I think you'll learn a few things . But may suggest some correction with grammarical mistakes? I have some troubles in believing you're fond of Shakespere and yet have some spelling/grammar errors. The 'i's should be captalised. Regarding your death wish, I'd like to say there's nothing wrong here with looking stereotypical. Me and Jilly are living cliche goths !

Oh, and as for Aiden, don't worry. Emos are hardly bashed here unless it's a straightforward opinion. But keep in mind that Aiden is definetly not an emo band.
There's nothing wrong with liking a band.

I don't even know who Aiden the band is? Well, welcome here, I'm sure you'll enjoy expanding your musical horizons.

Good goth...I might as well tell you, Deli, they're a mallcore scene kid band. Much in line with MCR and HIM, but claim more of a Post-Hardcore influence...Just another pop mall band in disguise. Goth Forever

Oh bugger, I typed out a long reply then and my internet decided to mess up...
Ill just type some stuff out.
Hi, and thankyou.
Im sorry about the mistakes, Im just a lazy typer, but ill keep it in mind for the future.
You'll notice I hardly ever use apotrophies too.
Sorry.
And of course looking stereotypical isnt bad, I just have strong views lol.
like that goth isnt all about Black, Death and Depressive Natures.

But that its more passionate, and more about the gothic romantic.
which is what Goth means.

But I wont start into that incase arguments arise.

Yay, i finally found someone who agrees with me that Aiden isnt Emo.
Nearly all the boards ive been on critisize me for liking them.

Im kat by the way, nice to meet you.

That is definitely correct.

That really isn't.

Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it eventually. It's really about music, but it does take some digging to get to the right stuff, since so many failing metal and techno bands are willing to put the G word on their forehead. You'll get there eventually.

Ah well, I should've thought so. I can't even listen to the radio anymore, it just pisses me off. I'm started to get used to learning that when someone I haven't heard of someone is being vaguely described as "goth friendly" by someone I don't know, that they're prolly some music industry turd dressed up in fancy black clothing. What a horrible waste of clothing, you'll never get the smell out.

I don't think I'm going to like you. I won't make up my mind now, but I have the feeling you are going to rub me the wrong way.

Eh... NoOou...
Goth is simply and solely about the music. Everything else is an aggregate to the subculture.

Other than that, welcome.

Lol it's ok, you're not the only person that thinks goth isn't ALL about the music >_< Though I guess it's just me and you now =P

No, you've got me, too.

Goth is not 100% music. I've said it time and time again. The music is probably the most important part, but it's in no way the whole.

Well, not all. But I tend to get stuck in music a lot, so I'm sorry if I've left that impression.

I like Aiden, too. "Unbreakable" is okay, but "Goodby We're Falling Fast" is better. Anyway, welcome.

Welcome.

Vyvian, I like your description about yourself and Jilly. Maybe someday I will be a cliche goth as you as well.
