Monty Python
Who else loves Monty Python? I just saw The Meaning of Life for the first time last night and it was awesome. Check out the Every Sperm Is Sacred song and the Penis Song.
I'm a long-time fan of The Holy Grail and The Life of Brian, and Flying Circus (been a long time since I've seen that) though. I thought And Now for Something Different was just OK. Discuss all things Monty Python here.
Post links to youtubery of your favorite scenes, if you'd like!

Second of all, yes, they rule.

See also, the Funniest Joke in the World, the Fish Slapping Dance and the Ministry of Funny Walks. They're all on there... somewhere...
My favourite Python song is Sit On My Face:
Sit on my face and tell me that you love me
I'll sit on your face and tell you I love you too
I love to hear you oralize
When I'm between your thighs
You blow me away!
Sit on my face and let my lips embrace you
I'll sit on your face and then I'll love you truly
Life can be fine if we both sixty nine
If we sit on our faces
In all sorts of places
And play till we're blown away!

Haha, I love Monty Python. I've seen "The Holy Grail" and "The Life of Brian," as well as "Flying Circus." I haven't seen "The Meaning of Life," though.

You gotta love the French.

Monty Python is excellent! You should also check out "Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail" and "The Life Of Brian" - two classic movies. It you prefer the sketch style like in "The Meaning of Life," you should check out "Monty Python's Flying Circus," their old television show.

In the meaning of life : a scene where a man is followed by a lot of half-naked women XD , or the scene in restaurant with this man hitler-alike eating and eating ... and my absolutely fav from the life of Brian is the Pilatus scene when he ask everyone if they find "risible" when he names his friend "Biggus Dickus" ... I have no idea how many rofls because of this , the faces of the soldiers trying not to laugh ...
I love Brian's mother ...

The Pythons are the epitome of comical genius. There is literally nothing funnier.
Along with the Flying Circus and all the brilliant movies, Fleigender Zirkus, a set of episodes of the Flying Circus made for German television, is definitely something not to miss. It didn't get great reviews in Germany, but damn, it's got some of the funniest material they ever did.
Also, John Cleese's 'How to Irritate People' is rather hilarious, and includes many of his fellow Pythons in the cast.

I could quote Holy Grail all day if I wanted. I've seen it enough times. I'm not a super fan freak. I've seen all the movies and some of the TV show. I love British humor

The movies are great but, I personally enjoy the Flying Circus most. My favorite episode is the one with all the undertakers in it. That's where I got my signature quote. Any Python fan should check out "How to Irritate People" as well, as it's a hilarious pre-Python flick. It includes an early version of the Silly Job Interview sketch.

I'm am a HUGE Python fan, I have all the films and have watched 'Flying Circus' since a kid. I grew up listening to the soundtrack in the car with my aunt so know all the songs too lol.
I totally worship them, Micheal Palin or Eric Idle are probably my favourite.
xXx.
