Hello, I'm corporalaccident. But you can call me Castle.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Mmkay. I write, I draw, I heart my boyfriend, I hang with the coolest people in the world (Metatron is one of them YUS), I go on MIGHTY adventures, I spend time outside, and I keep in mind the fact that I'm too lazy to have a real job.
2. Where are you from?
Same place as my BUDDY Meta.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Clive Barker, no questions asked.
4. What are your favorite films?
My absolute favorite movies on the planet are Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Darko, and The Notebook. I'm into a lot more than just those, though. A bigger list is on my myspace, so i'll copy and paste it here:
anything tim burton
anything johnny depp, duh
hocus pocus
napoleon dynamite
evil dead I & II
army of darkness
indiana jones
star wars
boondock saints
masters of the universe
any goosebumps, mmhm
saw I & II
28 days later
anything monty python
a christmas story
the jacket
the faculty
team america
critters
the amityville horror series
the ring
the others
identity
dangerous lives of the altar boys
igby goes down
the neverending story II
return to OZ goddamnit
the village
the sixth sense
LITTLE NEMO
heavyweights
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Oh man... That's tough. I think it really depends on who I marry, and what our "song" is.
6. At your funeral?
"Happy Phantom" by Tori.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Preferably the Bermuda Triangle, but if not, a peaceful way, and I want to be prepared for it.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Uhm. Black with black and white stripes inside. Yup.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My favorite thing to wear would be my black sweatshirt and track pants, because I'm a comfort whore. But, I like being a little less casual sometimes, with a great pair of jeans and my favorite green tank and black shirt. And I'm never without me cons. Nope.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I miss not having to worry about all that's wrong with the world. I was so happy and naive, but in a good way.
11. What's your favorite band?
Ack. Uhm, it's a hard choice between RHCP, APC, and Emery. And tori's number 1, but she's not a band.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm majoring in English.
13. Why did you join?
Everz made me do it.
Nah. Originally I wanted to come here and see how long it'd take before he figured out it was me, then I just got into it. So i'm here. Still.

And thank you for the comment on my poetry. It's my life, so I try pretty hard!

I'm working the convention, so I'm hoping to have a few opportunities to tell Barker how amazing his novels are to me. Imajica is still the most superb book I have ever read. Its soooooooooooo damn good..
You should drag Korova with you, and hoof it to San Francisco in May for it. Barker isn't the only amazing artist that is going to be there.
It should be mad fun, I am really excited about it.

It's corporal, not corporate. Sorry to bust your bubble, tribe.
Oh, and I forgot to say--Korova's a Barker fan too? I'll have to try to catch him and talk to him about it. HUZZAH!

Oh my God you haven't read it?!?!?!?!
What kind of Barker fan are you..
* spanks your ass*
Yes, you simply MUST read it. It changed my life too, funny you mention that.
His BEST book. Totally. I could rave about it for days and days..
The beginning is a bit slow, because he sets up a lot of background informartion. But plod on through it, and you won't be sorry.
It's also one of the only attempts at Erotic Horror I have ever actually enjoyed. And the unconventionality of it all, will seem quite normal by the end of it.
One of the characters, Pie O Pah, is still my favorite character of ALL TIME from any book.
You'll see what I mean..
* happy sighs*
He actually re-released it again with AMAZING illustrations..
When I read it first years ago, I remember thinking how awesome it would have been if all of these amazing worlds had been illustrated. I guess he heard me.
Here is a link to it in Paperback, fully illustrated from Amazon;

You spanked my ass. I kinda liked that.
The link didn't work, unfortunately. But the way you're raving about Imajica is the way I rave about Abarat, so i'm psyched. I think I'll go buy it when I'm out tonight. Good decision?

Si Senorita..
Thats why I thought it was neat how you mentioned Abarat the same way.
And I guess we're even because I haven't read it either..
* hangs head in shame*
I'll go get Abarat if you go get Imajica..

Sounds like a deal. And it's AbaraT, not Abarak. Silly!
Now I'm really excited, though. Uber. Uber excited. I'm taking Nikki and we're buying Imajica and I'm reading. I never read. Except for Clive Barker books, haha.
Have you seen his collection book? Visions of Heaven and Hell? I got it for Christmas, and I nearly chocked. THAT excited. Yup.

I caught the mispelling right away Ms. Thang..
Look up there ^^
*Hee*
And yeah Imajica is the only book that has ever had me that filled with glee. If Abarat has the same effect on you, that makes me all kinds of ooey gooey over the wonderous possibilities..
I am trying to sweet talk my Sugar into getting me Visions of Heaven and Hell for my Birthday. I haven't even seen it yet.
* pouts*
But yeah its a deal, I'll go find Arabat later today and you go get Imajica. Then we can compare notes.
Don't be daunted by the length of the novel. It is long as hell.
But it's worth every murdered tree it took to bind it.

That's another true story.
I KEED, though. I can read, on good days...
And only Clive Barker. Visions of Heaven and Hell is FANTASTICO to look through. It's my bible, basically. As is Abarat.
I'll try not to be scared off by the length of Imajica. I'll buy it regardless. YERP.

And I COMPLETELY forgot to mention Interpol in my list of favorite bands. I knew there was one I was forgetting... BAD Castle. Interpol is brilliant.
