And there we have it.
So next time you are in trouble (and there might very well be such a time), don't worry about having a trial before a jury of your peers. You won't.
You'll have a trial before a jury of people who were too stupid to get out of serving. Because everyone who could figure a way out of it, did!

I was early picking up my friend from work in one of the backwards little towns around here and decided to see what the town was like...
I saw a sign for a cleaning service that said "When Your Dreams Turn to Dust- VACUUM"
and the one outside of their one-stop said "BEER- THERE'S A TEMPORARY SOLUTION".
This is not far from where I had to go to court in a town that had a billboard that said "10 out of 10 terrorists agree, anyone but McCain/Palin 2008".

I think my exact words were "Well, sir, I am a communist, and I think any crime that this man commited is a result of his desperation caused by corporate capitalism, and I cannot put him in prison".
It helped that I have a red and black tattoo on my arm that says "hoi polloi".

I got NO sleep at all, and I gotta work at 6 am, which is in an hour and fifteen minutes. So I just got up at 3 am after unsuccessfully trying to get some sleep, took a long shower, downed an energy drink and made a big breakfast, so hopefully it won't be so bad...just scanning shit all day, so no customers.
But Jesus, Allah, Buddha, I love you all, please let me get through the day without crashing at work.

I didn't mean to say anything negative to you, it's just I don't drink.

We apparantly have a rat in tyhe kitchen at work. Nice. Fran was standing outside looking like she'd shit her pants and informed me at top volume that we have a rat . Everyone in there at the time saw the bugger scuttle across the floor into the kitchen. Trouble is whoever called pest control to come and put down the poison traps must have said it was a mouse, because there's no way in hell a rat will get into those tiny black boxes.

I can function without sleep but I was afraid of going to work like that, never worked with no sleep before. Fortunately it was brain dead work and the day flew by, I was fine.

Eight or nine. But if I wake up before I'm ready I'm a grouch until my first break when I can eat some junk food to make myself feel better. I just like waking up naturally.
Also why it was better to just stay up I think, if I only got an hour and half or two hours of sleep I would be reaally grouchy all morning and more tired.

Goddamn you Etsy and your drool worthy beading supplies. I curse the fact I'd have to wait weeks if I bought anything ( being a US/Austrailian? site and all that )

Etsy is American but there are plenty of UK sellers (now including me, yay). You can sell stuff on Etsy from anywhere in the world.
In other news, studying archaeology and anthropology is proving to be the greatest decision I've ever made.
