I think girls see what men see and (at least in our cultural environment) women are just nicer to look at. They tend to put more effort into their appearances at least. It's also possible that women have in general a weaker association between "nice to look at" and "want to have sex with". Idk.

Or maybe internalized homophobia teaches everyone that sex with women is inferior to sex with men, and society is very dismissive of bisexuality.
Its funny how our culture has the idea that women are more sexually fluid than men, but other cultures and in different times, bisexuality among men was normal.
