I honestly think people have stopped paying attention to him. At least in Canada, they have. The general consensus here is that the only dangers gaming poses is addiction and the loss of a life. No violence.

There was that guy in 2006 who went on a shooting at a college in Quebec, the media was all over him because he played a video game that was based on the Columbine shooting. And not to mention the stink everyone raised about Manhunt. But overall, I'd agree and say Canadians aren't on the "video games are evil" bandwagon.

I don't think it was him being goth, I remember Vampire Freaks being involved (they showed his profile) and some people blaming Megadeth, but mostly video games were blamed.

With a few minutes of research, and google, I stumbled across a copied copy of his blog...including this entry.
I’m so sick of hearing about jocks and preps making life hard for the goths and others who look different, or are different.
The other day on T.V. they were talking about this 15 year old kid that was killed by the cops, cuz’ he took a fake gun to school. Then they said he was emotionally disturbed and suicidal. Aaaaa, Duh!! If people were making your life a living hell wouldn’t you be hurt emotionally.
How come no one ever talkes about those MOTHER FUCKING JOCKS AND PREPS who’s fault it is. Oh no. Heaven forbid. We couldn’t posibly say that. Why does society applaude jocks? I don’t understand. They are the worse kind of people on earth. And the preps are no better, they think they’re better than others… but they’re not.
And all of society applaudes the jocks and preps. As if we are all supposed to be like them. Newsflash motherfuckers:
We will never be like them. NEVER.
Anyone else doubt he was truly gothic, in the sense that it is an art style/way of thinking?

Wow. Sounds just about like every other "alternative" kid out there to me.
Also saying all jocks and preps are awful people and its all their fault is just like saying anyone who is "goth" (I'm using the term very broadly here) is evil or emotionally disturbed.
