Same scenario in Canada.

Fashion in North America is incredibly bland and tends to lack in variety. That's why I love Montreal. It's as close as I can get to good taste in clothing.

Agreed..

But add Toronto to the list with Montreal.

I would give my Pinky Toe to be able to go shop again either place..

Although the Crepes are better in Montreal.

Sanctus, thanks for fixing my spelling. You KNOW I would never willingly mispell the name of a GNet member I respect and adore ... especially a hawtie like you!

Q. Why do people wear shamrocks on St. Patrick's Day?
A. Sure now, but them regular rocks be way too heavy, don't you know.

Toronto is definitely nice shopping-wise... and both it and Montreal have two gothic stores that are very, very nice... but I LOVEEEEE SIMONS near Montreal. It's my mom's favourite store, and it's kind of like discount designer stuff; wonderful clothes, at very reasonable prices. If I could buy all of my clothes there, I would.

I woke-up with a pocket full of pot this morning and a bottle of water based lube.

I don't know where it came from. I guess I drank too much.

Weird.

I don't know why this post comes off as snobbish to me, but it does.

Maybe a lot of Americans are more concerned with being comfortable than following the latest fashion trends?

That's a good question.

I don't put too much thought into what I throw on, unless it's a rare occassion on which I need to dress to impress. The only real thought I do put into the clothes I wear is: "Is this going to be comfortable today?" Sadly this mentality has led to me walking out of the apartment numerous times with slippers on rather than shoes. >.<

I actually dress up for even going to a store.
Now, of course, I'm not going to take an hour to dress up for the store, but, yeah, I take my time.

Three reasons I believe:
1) they come in friend packs
2) they're the same person
3) things generally come in packs. Sometimes you have a good luck streak, sometimes everyone that owed you money pays you, sometimes you hear your favorite songs in the radio simultaeously....

Actually, both of you..

The female body is a wonderous thing..

Regardless of size..

Look at Botticelli's women.. THAT is my idea of feminine beauty..

Not the Sticks with Legs you see in Magazines and on TV today..

I like a nice big ass.

well I'm built for breeding. Just not so sure it's in my best interest to procreate.

Sure it is!

Eveyone needs someone to take care of them when they're olde. And you can train them to clean the house so you don't have to.

Anyone remember the SNL skit with the 'Toilet Monkey'?

Yeah, I need a monkey around the house.

This is true. I could always plan to die young, that way no one would have to take care of me. Nothing is set in stone yet, however. (pardon the pun)

Ok so Xng there it goes: I've had this crush on a guy for 6 months now, and we were friends so I couldn't make a Mve or anything of this sort. Later on, I decided to confess to him and he thought it would be better if we remained friends. Yesterday, we went clubbing together( it was his birthday) and he was such a gentleman. He kept holding my hand and looking in my eyes and whispering me! Finally at the end of the evening he told me he neede to speak with me and that the only gift he wanted on his birthday is me . I squeezed him so tight and he kissed me. it was one of the most romantic nights ever. * blush*

Um, as long as he didn't say that he wanted you naked for his b-day.

I know it sounds cynical, but guys tried that line on me a lot when I was a virgin.
