(Forgive me for making two posts but for some reason It wouldn't let me post the original.)

His work is so soulful and yet painfully blunt. Right now I'm reading Uncle Vanya and it was light years ahead of it's time. It mentions the destruction
of the enviorment (particulary the forests). I won't ruin too much but I love it because it is dark and brooding. I'm doing a monologue from it and the character I'm doing is Ivan Petrovich Vointsky (AKA Uncle Vanya). He is a fun character to do because he is a tortured soul. Great stuff.

Have any of you guys read his plays and if so do you have any favorites?

Okay this is weird. I titled the thread "Chekhov" and it's called "What are you currently reading?"

For any of you reading this I did not label that. This thread has been causing me nothing but problems. (If there is a moderator reading this can you please change the name of it to Chekhov). Sorry for the inconvience.

Just finished the new Dresden Files novel. Sucks paying $20.00 for a hardback and finishing it in less then a day.

I still have 8 books at home I haven't finished, including the Time Life Mysteries of the Unknownish type books I picked up at the thrift store, with the really nice black covers. For 2 bucks each, Got the whole series now.

XD

I'm currently reading 'Pseudolus' by Plautus; it is a very funny play indeed, I have emitted many a laugh whilst reading it, it is a play deserving of its place in our great Roman culture.
