I saw a preview for an anime about Jesus and Buddha taking a vacation to Earth and being roommates in Japan. Its in the style of "slice of life" anime so hijinks ensue! Turns out its based on a manga and I read three volumes today.

Right, this made my day: I just happened to see some of the news. In Sweden, a group of bikers were riding their motorcycles out on the countryside/outskirts of town. They had cameras on their helmets so they could film their ride. Suddenly, they saw a house and noticed smoke coming up from the roof so they decided to stop and check it out. They opened the door, walked in and started calling "hello" but the owner of the house wasn't home - but her cat and 3 dogs were. The guys managed to get the animals out before the house burned to the ground.

(good to know there are good people out there - yesterday I saw a horrible headline about stupid kids kicking a hedgehog as if it was a football -_- )

Fuck yes! Metal Gear Solid 5 on PS3 AND PS4!!
Konami, thou art a wonderful, magical company of unicorns and good things.
Also, going to expand to X-Box with Metal Gear Solid now, so that kinda took the unicorn out of it.

Furthermore, it seems like Kiefer Sutherland will make quite a good Big Boss once you get used to him. It makes perfect sense to use a different voice actor - Big Boss and Solid Snake are two different people.
Solid Snake, Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake all had different voices, so there must be a deviation in voice during the cloning process.
So keeping Big Boss and Solid Snake on the same voice actor was actually just illogical fan service.

Psh whatever, metal gear started with nintendo and then they abandoned us. Foe Sony! I don't wanna hear your whining.

Lol

I think im either gonna go pc or ps4, depending on exclusives. If there aren't many exclusive titles, them i'll happily be a pc/nintendo gamee this gen. Xbox can suck it as far as i care.

InFamous 3 and Kingdom Hearts 3. Do you NEED more exclusives? :P

Also, 400$ for the PS4? I just paid that for the PS3 recently (I'm kind of an idiot)

There's no shame in that Timeless, the price tags of the current gen of platforms and upcoming platforms are the reason I switched to PC and haven't looked back. For the original prices of the PS3 and 360 I bought a decent PC or if I feel inclined later on, can build one from scratch at just over half the cost. Plus after one of my friends sent me this pic with the current features that are available to the next gen of platforms I decided, "Meh, PC gamer for life; exclusive games be damned."

Im super psyched about FF 15. Looks amazing. But, i didn't like infamous 1 , never played 2, not really interested in 3. Kingdom Hearts is alright, but i can totally live without it. I would love another game by the people that did Heavy Rain. That would be a selling point for me. That and Disgaea, even though i strongly believe RTS games belong on handheld. It's just a heavy price tag, fair, but still rather heavy. I'll wait to watch their line up. PS3 was really lack luster until last year. That's nearly 7 years it took for it to be worthwhile. PC seems like the better choice right now. Espiacially now indie development is opening up for both nintendo and sony consoles. I really hope i can get a game released befote the end of 2014. Sadly i lost all my work wgen my laptop burned out. But, yeah, it's looking like i'll end up with a ps4 before long.

Edit: sorry my comment is really all over the place. Doing this by cellphone and ot's hard to organize my comments out. Also typos... lots of typos.

Hey, I bought a PS3 just to play Metal Gear Solid 4. It was worth it
I am hoping to get a PS4 if it doesn't go up in price after Christmas.
I could sell some old stuff - if I get my guitar amp sold, I'll be able to afford it I think.

I had my birthday party today since tomorrow is both a Sunday and Father's Day, and it was great. We played Vampire The Masquerade in which we spent more time creating characters than we did actually playing because everyone's a newb, but we had a lot of fun and the people who haven't played before got really into it. Then we played board games ^_^ Its great playing games with people who aren't anal about rules or get upset when they lose.

Sounds awesome Saya!

I've always wanted to play VtM, but last time I even tried Pen and Paper, I ended up with a serious game master, but with a group of people who spent more time making penis jokes than playing the game.

Awww. None of us could keep a straight face so it was a pretty funny game, but a little more mature than that (at least until I used Arms of the Abyss, which makes shadow tentacles. Everyone was really awkward and cringing because they were thinking of hentai, so I had to stop saying "tentacles" XD). But the silly stuff was like talking like Dirty Harry when one of us got discovered while sneaking or using the craft skill to whittle a stake out of a chair leg. Or making our Nosferatu lie in the trunk while we drive around.

I wish I had cool friends like you :P
Although, I suppose cool is an ambiguous term when, in fact, you are talking about roleplayers.

Today was the last day of my mom's four day visit, we had a great time (then again we almost always do) and had amazing luck with the weather, even in San Fransisco. I'll probably get around to posting some pictures in the next few days.

I make a habit of it :P The secret is digging up old stuff instead of keeping your thumb on current stuff

We just hung out on Friday and Monday but Saturday we went wine tasting in Carmel Valley and Sunday we went up to San Fransisco and did a whole bunch of things, including going to Haight-Ashburry, which she hasn't been to since I think the 70's, she really enjoyed how it had changed but still had the same spirit that she remembered. We also went to an art museum, botanical garden, tea garden, checked out loads of awesome architecture (one of the homes was even for sale so naturally we had to find out how much it was, as we guessed it was expensive enough that I would have had to sell all of my brother's organs on the black market to even make a reasonable down payment but hey a girl can dream) and the best ice cream bar ever. It was a busy Sunday, well even the days we were just hanging out we were downtown walking around so all in all a busy, but really fun, four days.

A hot sausage roll with flaky pastry eaten on the run. I would have got a nice soy latte to go with it if I wasn't late.

The knowledge that whatever happens, I'll soon finish my course and have a bit more downtime.

The sun is streaming in through red curtains is giving my living room a nearly womb-like feel, The Cure playing softly in the background. My cat is sitting next to me blinking slowly. It is all icing on the cake, because we've been married for 10 years today. *warm fuzzies*
