I've started a new doll project. I've been giving cheap imitation dollar store "barbies" makeovers for years now, mostly just makeup and simple alterations to the outfits they come with. I've also made doll clothes for girls I know, or for their parents to give to them as gifts, etc. I'm embarking on a bit of a journey here though. I'm adding joints to the body, repainting it entirely, and entirely rerooting it's head...and then I'm making an outfit for it. Something to keep my mind off things, and something I'll have time for now that I've dropped my life drawing class (2 hours a day I have back now), I'll post pictures of the process later *giggle* it's preeeetty funny lookin' at the moment

You know, there are a lot of talented people out there that make some amazing dolls. The only thing I have a problem with is the people who drees up the dolls that look like little kids and adolescents(sp?) in bondage gear.
I know that I shouldn't be offended because they're dolls, but it just strikes me as sick.
Yes, I have issues...

I haven't in quite a while though. I rarely get a chance to work on anything significant with the kids up all day and working at night. Bleh, eventually the hubby's going to be a manager where he works and I'll be able to work a little less.
