Too funny. But the sign? They actually put stuff like that in buses there? They'd turn the bus over here.
That said, my rant for today ... missed free food at the hospital where I work (the annual Thanksgiving luncheon), because one of my ingenious coworkers came in yesterday with pneumonia and pinkeye!! Then told us all on the way out the door, "Gee. I hope you all don't mind if I give you this stuff the day before Thanksgiving. It's just I need the money." I told her it was okay, if we got either or both -- the day before Thanksgiving -- we'd simply take turns beating her up. (So. Whatcha wanna bet I get written up tomorrow). Reason for the whine session, woke up today hacking up a lung and my eyes are BOTH red, and I have to work today -- both jobs -- from 3 p.m. until 4 a.m. Yay. I SO love the holidays.
BTW God does not hate anybody.

Ha ha ha! i have the worst luck in the world, and generally, i'm a nice person. So at some point i must have seriously offended someone, and done such a good job of it that he punishes me every day.

Well, just try to remember that last part. It's just 'cos you're special. (Now as for me, I must be very, very special. I'll try to remember that if a train goes through my house. God is only allowing me to be 'railroaded' in my living room because I'm so speciaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!). Okay. Now got to get back to work. That's also part of being 'special' -- having to work on holidays.

Oh I will have to let Jake know, that way he can just accept it and move on, instead of always getting his hopes up only to have to go in anyway. At least they let employees get food from the Thanksgiving buffet they were having for guests so he did get a free dinner (for those who are wondering: Thanksgiving with his family was held at lunch time so that we could make it).

Glad you could have 'Turkey day' with your family, Solumina. That counts for something.
Mine was kind of quiet. Had to work. As for my family, they've scattered to the four corners of CONUS (the continental United States) due to the economy. My girl and her new family are back east, my dad and grandmother passed away over the last year, and my mom is in a nursing home. My grandparent's home was sold in October, and the new owners ripped that cute little farm house out and are putting up a prefab. No more Thanksgivings there (my fault, should've got pix), or at my family home (now the property of the bank, but at least I did get pix). So, Thanksgiving is now either here with my friends (this year), or back east with my girl (next year). Oh well, nothing like stretching the holidays out. Waaay out - like 2700 miles. The year after next, I have a friend who has invited me to spend it at their house in Florida. (Considering how 'special' I am, that may not be such a good idea, seeing as how they live in the hurricane belt).

Seems that my depression has developed into the "I don`t want to ever wake up" phase.
I`m having bad dreams about what happened and I don`t want to wake up to face it.

You need to go out with your friends and stay on a three month binge. That'll put things back into perspective for you. Albeit, a rather skewed one, but it helps.

My friends are pretty awesome and are supporting me, it`s just that we have a 5-day holiday now and they are all away with their families.
I invited one friend to stay over at my place for a couple of days, hopefully it`ll take my mind off of it.
