Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Worst song to get stuck in your head
What Goes Around Comes Back Around by Justin Timberlake -- don't mind the man or the song, but when it happens, like it is to me, right now, It's like slow water torture...
I feel dizzy...

Probably "Take on Me" by A-Ha or "Heart of a Dragon" by Dragonforce. Both of which make me laugh uncontrolably for different reasons.

My neighbor, a five-year-old, got this stuck in my head for three days....
"Girlfriend" Aviril Lavigne
(shudders) I was ready to shoot myself in the head....
Yeah that A-ha song is pretty campy...it makes me laugh too.

"Who Let the Dogs Out". God, it's the most annoying song, like EVAR.

The song that most often annoying gets stuck in my head is that stupid Pepto Bismol song where all the people are dancing around holding their stomachs!
"Nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea
Yeah, Pepto Bismol"
That, and for some reason that 80's Rob Bass song, "It Takes Two" randomly pops into my head ALL the time when I wake up in the morning, then it's stuck there all damn day.
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
Hit it!
I wanna rock right now
I'm Rob Base and I came to get down
I'm not internationally known
But I'm known to rock the microphone
Because I get stoopid, I mean outrageous
Stay away from me if you're contagious
'Cause I'm the winner, no, I'm not the loser
To be an M.C. is what I choose 'a
Ladies love me, girls adore me
I mean even the ones who never saw me
Like the way that I rhyme at a show
The reason why, man, I don't know
So let's go, 'cause
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
Hit it!
haha!

They play the mainstream crap on my bus ride to school. And if I forget my headphones, Heaven help me. Because then I get shit like that stuck in my head.
"I'm bringing sexy back...yeah."

This horrid novelty song my sister played to me, it's called something like Paracetomoxyfluzobendroneomycin. I found it funny at first but when this verse got stuck in my head for about two weeks it nearly drove me to random murder:
"We must admit some side effects are really not that rare,
Like nausea, vomiting and losing all your hair,
Heart attacks, turning gay and growing extra breasts,
But it's f***ing cheap and hey, this is the NHS!"

You know, up until this moment I thought that song was saying "I have a sexy back!"
All I could think was "Who cares?"
I think that the most annoying song to have caught in your mind would have to be "All You Base Are Belong To Us."
"HA HA HA HAHAHA!"

Good goth...I have the song You Spin me Round-Dead or Alive. Totally annoying d00d. I sound a lot like Vyvian Blackthorne, Resident Wildebeet Goth. Wait. That's me. Apologies for being extremely annoying. Though this is the appropriate thread.

Lapin, what is sad is -- we are exposed to this catchy, glitzy over processed stuff, and it just takes over your body like that thing from the movie Aliens, worming it's way into your brain until you find yourself actually...singing...this...stuff....
Even *gasp* dancing...
Damn them all...
Oh dah horror -- DAH HORROR....

My friend sings this song form an advert that goes: 'The Milky Bar Kid is strong & tough, & only the best is good enough'.
Yeah, well it gets stuck in my head. At really bad times. Like before a drama exam.
Though music from adverts always get stuck in my head & annoys me.

'Time' by Cinema Strange. Good song, but it loses its luster after the ten-millionth time.

Also, if it isn't an annoying song, it's the annoying part of a song you like.
Right now I just have the lines 'I'm singing in the *clap clap* the major key!' in my head, courtesy of Patrick Wolf's 'Magic Position'. It's a good song, but it's bugging the hell out of me right now.

HA HA HA HA. "I have a sexy back....." That would make a GREAT parody of that song.
*Laughs*

There are existing "Sexyback" parodies.
I got a new one. "Pain" by Three Days Grace. It goes away, then comes back...
