Supposedly the most babies are born in the month of August.

Interestingly, we have no birthdays marked in August on the g.net calendar.

Annoyingly, Goth Blonde has put down her birthday twice.

Two newbies have put down their Dad's birthdays.

I didn't see e_e's birthday on Tuesday, so a belated Happy Birthday to e_e.

It's Saya's birthday today and, though Saya's not posting at the moment and I don't actually know her, I wish Saya a Happy Birthday too.

Not that this is some sort of conspiracy, just that the admins are shitheads.

How long before we sneeze and they confiscate the tissue? I loved this place, but it's a bit much now. I'm not going to completely ditch or anything, but I'm not going to be here every day anymore either.
*falls out of chair laughing* Amen to that! I think I'll have a toast to you now, M.

God, everytime I look around at what's going on, I just.... get mad. Not like, "Grrr, I'm not happy" mad. No, more like "Korova SMASH!" mad. Oh God. My skin's turning GREEN!!

I was thinking exactly along the same lines. I thought the behind the scenes mod was like the SS, the removal of all the well-known and important people from here is similar to the assasinations that took place in hitler's rise to power, and the raving fools were like the mob that supported him. What are some other similarites between Nazism and what's occuring here?

Ugh. I can't take this anymore. This place used to be where'd I'd come at the end of the day when I wanted less frustration. There's almost nothing but frustration here for me now. I've felt aweful staying away because of personal issues I'm taking care of, but I see now that, other than the handfull of brilliant people I adore here (who are all equally frustrated it would seem) there really isn't any reason I should miss it as much as I do when I'm away for a week or so. That makes me more frustrated than anything else as far as all of this is concerned, the fact that I miss something that now no longer really exists.

Hitler's rise to power indeed. I'm not going to worry myself anymore about not being able to be here. There was a period of time in which I was here almost as much as our beloved Xnger's was, I can't make myself care about this site that much anymore. I adore every last one of the brilliant people I've met here but, in addition to aforementioned personal issues, with the extreme downfall of this once lovely place I'm not expecting to be here nearly as much as I used to be ever again. I'll visit, because I adore you dears too much, but I don't like idiocy and frustration and things that are far too easily compaired to Hitler's rise to power and Nazism.

In other news: I was looking at grafiti on a bench at the bus stop today and it read "Hapenis fly. Faries fly." It confused me a bit, but made me giggle...especially the weird little mustache dude drawn below it...

Hey, who knows how to turn links into just words, like, so you don't have to put the whole www.whatever.com crap in, just make it go like 'boo!', or something.

< a href="http://www.whatever.com" > Boo! < /a >
After you remove space adjacent to the "<" and ">" it should make
<a href="http://www.whatever.com">Boo!</a>

*edit*
Or so I thought...

those eyes will not work on me *points you at the FAQ* Oh, fine, I'll be nice...do so as follows:

[u.r.l.=fill in this blank with your url]fill in this blank with your spiffy words of choice[/u.r.l.]

Remove all periods and there you go

*edit* It's vB code, instead of html, they have a very handy dandy little guide to simple things here

oooo, cake is good, it almost makes up for what a downer this place was tonight. Thank the gods there are still some lovely people here, or I may have had to do something drastic...

maybe... but wouldn't that then be rather... meaty cake? And here I was, thinking that cake isn't supposed to be blood-soaked.

Thunderstorms actually kind of make me horny. Especially if constant lightning and heavy rainfall are involved. Is this normal?

Normal for you? Maybe. Nothing is normal for everyone ... except maybe sucking air once in a while!

...

I am so over the great outdoors at the moment. It's 98F degrees and humid outside and they're spraying the neighborhoods for mosquitos. That stuff stinks! Sheesh!
