I got to go to the park with a friend with her little ones, we did the chatty mom thing, then we ran around the park with the kids like wild people. I love life.

I was watching Elvira's Movie Macabre, which was featuring 'Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter' (1966), when Elvira commented:

"This movie is a hamfisted attempt to combine a horror story with a western that ends up being neither, and that's coming from a broad who's made a career out of smooshing two things together!"

BWAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!

Caught Judge on MSN. She's just submitted her PhD thesis and so will have a lot more time to piss away online.

I'm working on it.

My b/f bought me a chocolate chicken for Easter. I happen to be terrified of chickens. He said he thought I'd enjoy smashing it's tiny, terrifying, chocolately chicken face to pieces. He was right. Best of all, it had a chocolate egg inside it filled with tasty Smarties

That's the only way to have a babybat - rent them for the day!

She's adorable!

Got my term grades back, I rocked it.

I didn't do well in my first year so my GPA was screwed up, and I was worried on how that was going to affect me in getting an honors degree, but if I keep this up it'll be no problem ^_^

I just found out that the man who voiced Mickey Mouse for 32 years is married to the woman who voiced Minnie Mouse.

Isn't that just a perfectly wonderful bit of trivia to know?

I found that out a few days ago as well!

I bought a new dress today. It's just a little summer dress.
Oh, and NO BIG DEAL OR ANYTHING, but the Deftones concert is in 2 days.
I'm freaking out.

What made this Kitty's day (well technically yesterday since we're only 19 minutes into this day) was helping the Little Bat with her first shower.

I realize some may think that 6+3/4ths is old to start showering but baths have been working reasonably well for her although her hair is getting so long that washing it in the tub has become impractical. But I didn't push things when she expressed great fear at the noise and pressure of the grown up shower head. So we bought her one of those fun kid's shower heads when we bought our current house and I finally installed the damn thing a couple days ago.

She really likes the thing! And OMG a shower is so much quicker, I hadn't even realized by how much! *happy dances*
