Shit. I don't think it's right for the LGBT to counter-discriminate but I think there is a problem of homophobia within the Black Californian community that should be tackled.
It's not just black Californian's, as I'm sure you already know. The Black community in general does not show a tolerance for homosexuality.

Congrats, you managed to dance around the whole point. *chuckles*

Sometimes funny is just funny. And a lot of times "funny" is only funny because part of it bothers us. It's human reaction to things; humor is a defense/escape mechanism. The concept of one previously oppressed group siding statistically high in a choice to drastically infringe on the civil rights of another minority is ironic and funny. Mostly just a little sad and disturbing as to what it could say about the human psyche, but still a little funny.

I didn't dance around anything, and I understood your comparison from the beginning. I was saying in a roundabout way that I don't find it funny.
