Yes, we do. For anyone who follows football 'round the world, our national team players are not only from local clubs, but also play in such teams as Manchester United, Barcelona F.C., Real Madrid F. C., Milan F.C., Chelsea, and our own former UEFA Cup and Champions League Title holders Futebol Clube do Porto.
Angola plays tough and have an amazing endurance and stamina, but lack some techique.
Mexico should resemble our game a bit more (except that we're a lot better looking and have better players too ).
As for Iran, we're gonna wipp their arses raw, no matter how well they play. They're too stiff.
I think we'll rank 1st in our group (with the possible exception of Mexico).
Oh, and I'm quitting my moderating position, by the way. I don't spend enough time here anymore to consider myself usefull.
Later,
M

Why does anyone have to feel useful?

What ever happened to Geisha girl, Demonista and the others? Is everyone leaving?
(I wasn't sure where to post this so I just thought I'd post it in random)

I just noticed that the vast majority of my posts are really late at night when there are only like two other people on here

I wonder what would it be like if Mael was my father

Well, if you took after me, you'd be drop-dead-gorgeous, 122 IQ results and absolutely nothing to show for it.
Oh, yeah, and right now, you'd be working at the age of 34 for less than minimum wage in your country (lemme say it again, kids, I make about 400$ monthly), you'd have your middle right-hand finger broken in 3 different places, the woman you loved for 6 years decided she wants to move on with her life without you, and to tp it off, your only existing pair of sunglasses split i 2 this week as well.
Son, let us hope it isn't hereditary

On another note, before I cornered her into killing me, we watched Clan Of Xymox the night before.
Why do I wear black??
Well, I'm mourning, you see.
I mean, someone's always dying at some time or another.
Only this time... it was me!...

Okay. Anyone see messages, "I <3 you?"
Ya. "<3" is a heart, standing for Love.
It isn't saying, "I greater than 3 you."
(Now I'm going to heaven.)

This reminds me of the passing of the Elves in "Lord of the Rings" or the exodus of the Technomages in "Babylon 5". And it saddens me.
Mael, I understand. By the way, for a person who is a n00b to futbol, can you recommend a good site to learn about your team? Something other than the official team site? Thanks!
E_E, I understand. Your decisive but even-handed guidance will be sorely missed. But, beyond that, it is my fondest wish to continue to hear from you from time to time, as I find your thoughts and commentary are both relevant and intruiging to me.

mael - yeah. that's what i get for browsing - an eyeful of old men banging each other... ugh. you didn't miss anything important.
ben - feel free to say hi whenever you get the urge, my friend - edible_eye@**********. i've got enough to keep me busy with my writing, now that i'm back in the game. i'll still stop in from time-to-time, of course, i just don't think i've got the time to dedicate to the site like a real mod should. shit, i haven't really been around as it is for the past month, right? at least my writing is picking up.

E_E, since the email address I use includes my real name which is very rare and highly trackable, I'll just send you an email after a bit (can't email properly on the cellphone I'm posting from). And I'm very pleased that you've found your muse again.
I could never fault a person for saying that their writing is the reason they have little time to waste on the web.

we finally got some good news about my dad (if any of it can be called good news). We it turns out that when they first examined him even though he had healthy lungs they were full of anti bodies as if they were reacting to an infection and that this was most likely the result of being exposed to agent orange. The reason that this is good news is that it means that Erik and I may qualify as war orphans and in Virginia there is a war orphan’s bill where the state will pay full tuition to any Virginia state university (both my brother and I go to state schools) so that will really help my mom out
