One of my facebook friends posted a link to bad tattoos. The featured tattoo was Patrick Swayze, but not just any Patrick Swayze oh no. It was a PATRICK SWAYZE CENTAUR. With multicoloured background. I am really quite disturbed by it's weirdness.

My course has become far more enjoyable this year now that we get to choose what to do for half of the credit points. I'm doing more astro related subjects including high energy astrophysics, as well as soft condensed matter and a unit on eco-physics.
We also do a longer, more focused experiment rather than five or more shortish ones. I'm looking at pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance and my lab partner is a friend of mine who I know actually gets his work done. Last year my lab partner was a stoner who was late every week and was incredibly lazy.
Computational physics has gone from using Visual Basic last year to a choice of either C or Python. I have no knowledge of either of those but again I'm actually looking forward to learning one.
On top of that, I initially thought the house I'm renting this year looked awful but is turning out to be fine and I have the same awesome housemates as before.
Pretty happy with everything, shame Dead and Buried got canceled tonight but it's on again on Halloween.

I got drunk yesterday at Spring in the Valley and turns out I'm sunburned too. I think it's probably only about the 4th time in my life I've gotten sunburn, it's crap. It's on the back of my neck and a bit on my shoulders which is pretty uncomfortable, it was a great day though.

They changed cloves here because there's some law about flavored cigarettes. They do't have the kick they used to, but I never baught them anyway. I'm surpirsed I noticed the difference when my friend gave me one.
