Bad news, for me, that is:
I won't be going to Convergence 12 after all. My Priority Mail-shipped payment for my badge & souvenir t-shirt had gotten lost in the mail. David S. White [1 of the coordinators of C12] had sent me 2 e-mail messages after I asked if he has recieved my payment or not. Needless to say, he did not. According to White, a lot of out-of-town mail has been delayed getting into New Orleans post-Hurricane Katrina. By the time my mailed payment makes it into N.O., the Gothic-Industrial gathering would already be over. Ont top of that, I haven't made any lodging or transportation arrangements because presently, I haven't got the revenue to do either.
This sucks.
This could've been the best Spring break I've ever had since I started college back in January 2004. But instead, like last year, I'm going to miss out on Convergence, my 1 opportunity to meet an online friend from another messageboard & kick it with Andy, Gopal, Tony & Ryan [Bella Morte, my boys from VA] again. Damn.

I've never heard of this Convergence before. It would have been fun to go but that's impossible at this point in time for me.
Plus I would have nothing to wear. XD

Aw... you don't know what you're missing... (okay, so maybe you do)
But the Cruxshadows have been a staple of the D-Con lineup for the past few years, so do not despair! They'll probably be back next year, too (along with Voltaire, who is also there pretty much every year).
